I don't like it, she's far too childish. He just gave her a home. If she were filling out an application for an apartment, they'd go over her finances anyway. To qualify where I live, you have to make a certain amount so that the rent and rental expenses don't exceed a certain percentage of one's income. They also check your credit rating. She needs to grow up and be thankful for her blessings.

And went behind MC and Hailey's back to get a bigger and better house than MC & the company ever agreed to and waited until Hailey loved the place to spring it on both of them, knowing that MC couldn't then say no. Now MC has to buy furniture out of his own pocket, and Hailey is losing all her bonuses.
Both of them probably would have agreed to it anyway if she'd been honest about it up front, but instead she decides to be manipulative to get what she wants. (And tries to kick MC out of "HER" house twice).

even if money didn't matter wouldn't matter to me when she does something like she did. Cause of what she did wasn't a small thing to me. I can let manipulation go if it's a small thing and not that big of a deal still won't like what they did but won't be a big deal. Since I don't see a harem tag on this I'm going to assume it's like a Mr. Dots game and we're going to get fucked at the end for wanting to see all the available sex scenes rather than sticking with one girl. The writing is already on the wall of who we are supposed to end up with, with Ghostly Ella & Maddy thrusting Madelyn into MC's arms... If it is your peer, you have to stand ujp for yourself and cannot feign ignorance or victimhood, as it it your binding acceptance of the behavior that enforced it and gives it meaning.
