not yet anyway. We'll see what jpk has in store for us later. I wouldn't rule it out, though it would be weird as fuck for me. Very interesting, but I self insert a lot in this AVN, so yeah... it would definitely feel weird.

So sick of seeing this 'it would be weird' crap...
We spend 10 mins, some dialogue lines a handful of renders with a character. There is no attachment to said character at all (for us, as players). Is it sad? Sure, brilliasnt writing, but not like we spent 5 updates and 2 years with this character and actually grew some attachment to her., We barely had 5 renders with her as an actual married adult.
Bring on her sister I say, could lead to fantastic situations and writing.

Hoping for Madelyn to be LI, bc through the first two chapters non of the main LI impressed me in a way that made me think they could fill the hole in MC's heart, but the moment I saw Madelyn I said "there she is, the missing part", and it all just felt natural, there even was a render at the end of chapter 3 that showed her holding hands with MC's wife and daughter. She feels like she belongs.

you do you Mav, but as I said, I self-insert a bit in this story. Reason is not important. But when I imagine being in his place, I would feel fucking weird about it. Sue me.

I also usually self insert with VN's...there is still no attachment to us as a player at all. Difficult to try and be attached to a character that really, is not there.
The writing itself...will give us the dilemma/trauma/moral aspects of it, self insert or otherwise (or I'm certainly hoping it will).

I think every 'player' have different Point of View when 'playing' VN. The immersion or might you said "attachment" will different for every other 'player'. Especially, when the writing quality is good, the plot is strong and the delivery is on point.
So, in my opinion, there's no "crap" when someone give you opinion regarding it. Just saying, hahahaha
Yeah thats just looking at it from one perspective. There doesnt need to be attachment from the player (to ella) to make it weird, the attachment from the MC is already enough.
It 100% would be super weird and would feel very much like he chose a replacement ella. Ben says it in the story "You invited a woman with the face of your wife and the name of your daughter into your house, be careful you dont associate anything with her that has nothing to do with her".
This doesnt mean that it wouldnt work, the dev could go that way and it could be amazing and i would play that route instantly but it would still be weird!
I wouldnt mind Madelyn just being family and not a LI but in this case i would NEED madelyn as a LI in the next avn with a different MC.

Dude Lisa is the first heartfelt romance I ever felt in these kinds of games. Usually I´m just here for the sex but damn she has real good chemistry with the protag so far.

I would say it's quite likely, there are some variables and dialogues that indicate a relationship in that direction, and it was something that bothered me, in another story it would be great, but in this one I didn't like the idea, after everything the protagonist went through he went straight to a three-way relationship with two younger girls, my immersion in the story made me back off, but I think I'll still make a save to see how it turns out.
I admit I went in that direction at first, but as I mentioned, I really got immersed in this story, so I'm going to redo my saves.
