What does the (Leala special) stat mean, and is it worth sacrificing respect for (however likely that the point will be earned back later)?

Laela's specific stat is "Doubt". Best guess is that you are pushing her towards doubting her father because as we learn in this update, she see him as a role model and even tries to taint the MC's image of the Old Man. Based on what's in the code for each characters specific stat, they are always good. Here's an image from the code with each one of them.

With the "doubt" stat, I wonder if our choices had a first impact during this update. When the MC talks with Cymhen and Leala spies on them, the MC senses doubt in the Weave. Just wondering if it's automatic or if it depends on the stat.
