Cerys and the MC met when she was 22 and he was 20. They were friends for two years, and then he disappeared for five. She waited for him that entire time.

Ffs, I didn't say she was promiscuous like it was a matter of fact and done deal thing. You're choosing to interpret my words like that, similarly to how you brought up me "complaining" about Anwen when I NEVER DID, not even once. This selective interpretation is annoying.

I pointed out the signs seen in the game along with conjecture that I hope I was/am wrong about, but that there's no conclusive way to verify one way or the other.

Ultimately, it was propping up a question and requesting an answer for it.

First off - Asking to change the story? Where? Are you high?

As for the general vibe of that rant... Bruh, it's a forum for discussions and your stance of "don't discuss it/criticize it and go do your own" is a very bad take. "Praise it or STFU!!!"? C'mon man.

But it's a rant, so w/e. Get it out of your system.

The irony here is that I HAVE been singing the game's praises. But I also voiced out the point of dissonance I felt, and that was enough for some to get their pitchforks

Now, I'm done with the Cerys discussion. I feel that anything productive has already been shared.

TNoM quickly jumped to my top AVNs (alongside Dropout Saga and Cosy Cafe, all for different reasons), and I want it to be the best it can be. In my view, anyway.

Hmm...the red head, MC's future wife sure gives off a huge lesbian sharing vibe. She mentions the harem members (wards) would become her wives as well (image below).

And with her becoming the leader / head of the family, the marriage with MC and the girls...would all just become members of her harem. Unless MC ends up becoming the leader / head of the family, instead red...then it would become MC's harem.

As well it sounds to me that this is will become more of a polly story, instead of a harem.
Well. it's too soon to tell.

Thanks for the warning, based on that this is a poly disguised as a harem, which is a shitty way to drag along the players who do not want anything to do with bi/lesbian stuff in vn by using the term "harem" because this is poly at best, meaning every LI is essentially bisexual leaning mostly on lesbian, not something i am even remotely interested in.
And honestly, based on this single picture it makes me wonder what even the point of putting male mc in this? That's just me though.

Huh, at the beginning this game looked like a pretty average HS game, pretty "meh". But actually it's really good. Nice surprise, i wasn't expecting much from it when i downloaded it. Amazing.

As for the discussion from the couple of posts before this: I kinda dig the shared/poly harem vibe personally and it feel quite unique in the avn landscape. And i don't think it's gonna be forced. It also feel like we will probably be able to have a more traditional harem style. Hell if you want to, you don't even have to engage romantically with Cerys at all. You can just stay friend with her, just be in a political marriage and get all the other girls or even just solo route just one if you wish.

Anyway looking forward for more.

Yep, all LIs are avoidable. The dev said that if you don't romance Cerys, she'll act as your wingman, but she's my favorite, so she'll always be a romance for me.

As for the long buildup, she’s been in love with the MC for seven years, so from her point of view, build up has been long enough.

Her dialogue options dont feel that romantic, and im on exactly 10 points where 11 is needed to trigger her confession.
If that is the only way to romance her then i guess she is just a background character in my PT.

In comparison Anwen and the elven aunt's options feel way more "romantic" when you can put the moves on them.
While with Cerys you need to make the choices as if you've been married for a few years already. like skipping the getting to know you phase and going straight to a married couple.

Well to be honest it's too soon to tell if it's going that route...but it does concern me as well. Also, I'd like to point out I really did enjoy this title, as well how the story introduced the ward girls into the house.

And it's obvious MC's best friend is totally into him (and most of her female family members as well), but I'm just not so sure if she was swing that way while MC was in the forest for five years. Though, hearing her say she would be into licking the muscle chick's stomach was odd for me, and then MC relays it back to that shy girl to give her some confidence (which that could have been a user choice to enable or disable any future content with potential lesbian kink... And for me I would have kept that comment to myself during my play though ).

So I would suggest to not cancel this title out because of the mentioned bi / lesbian content, as the story so far is really good and there still hasn't been definite signs that overboard sharing bi content will be present to the degree of predatory lesbian love interests.

Try her romance anyway, she has a reason for the way she acts, and everything gets explained. I think her romance is really great.

Im perfectly fine with her character, what i dont like is the "path" to her romance.
Idk, feels simpy on some dialogue choices for her.
This is why i hoped for the "longer romance" path to be available where you as a player can get to know her and not just MC memories/feelings that are not shown.
With other girls it seems that romancing stage will be done well and "on-camera", while the main girl is "robbed" of that opportunity.

They met seven years ago. She’s a virgin, completely in love with the main character, and has been waiting for him all this time, no relationships, no casual flings, nothing. So how the hell is that promiscuous?
