True, and I get what you mean.
But it was never sold. I'm creating games TO SELL, not for fun or for free. I only release them on F95 for the feedback, so I don't feel like I abandoned anything. I think of this place as a beta testing place.

Unlike The Necromancer Arises (which I'm ashamed to have rushed it but there was no other way) and people actually paid for it.
Thats a strange condition to be place on something for you to feel like its abandoned. Depending on how you view patreon support, some people did buy it, or at least support it before the patreon went down. So you only feel you can abandon a game once you put it on Steam to sell? If thats the case then in your eyes do you think like 90% of the games on this site aren't actually abandoned? Would you consider them failed prototypes as well? And is that just not another way of saying abandoned

Im not trying to shit on you or anything. Im actually intrested in your thought process here

First of all, I don't even have a Patreon. Got banned because of incest a few years ago.
Second, we only have three completed games.

1 - Tamas Awakening
Short visual novel about hypnosis and fucking the whole family.
Fucked everyone, got everyone pregnant, END.
There's no "big story" here. It's all just an excuse to fuck.
COMPLETED GAME, NO RUSHED ENDING.

2 - Family Breeding
Same as above with a bit more plot. Plot is you need to get everyone pregnant to become family head, you do it and game ends.
COMPLETED GAME, NO RUSHED ENDING.

3 - The Necromancer Arises
A lot of plot, too large of a story, too many charaters. (Bad decision which I won't be making again)
Game was not selling well so I made a business decision and decided to cut it short to minimize losses.
COMPLETED GAME, RUSHED ENDING.

So, we have ONE rushed ending. I don't really care if you enjoy my games or not, that's your personal taste, but I'M THE CREATOR and I'm telling you the ONLY game we rushed was The Necromancer Arises.
The other MIGHT FEEL rushed (for your personal taste), but they were not. I just wanted to make fappable incest games. I don't really care much about plot.
Maybe that's why your game doesn't sell well, because you didn't care if the users enjoy your games or not.

"So you only feel you can abandon a game once you put it on Steam to sell?"

Yes, because these people have paid to buy my game and with a promise that I would complete it.
So far I have completed all my games that have been sold on Steam. Even if Necromancer was selling bad, I paid from my pocket for a few more months so we could get at least some "harem ending" scenes.
I wish I could have completed it with more scenes, but it was not possible. This game alone costs me 1000$ every month. It quickly adds up specially if you live in a 3rd world country like me (minimum wage here is 300$/month)

" If thats the case then in your eyes do you think like 90% of the games on this site aren't actually abandoned?"

I can't speak for other devs since every dev has a different work method. Some create it for fun, some only publish on F95, some sell on Steam like me and others.
For me, F95 doesn't say anything about a game being abandoned or not. If it only exists here, it doesn't exist at all (from a business point of view, since F95 doesnt pay me anything).

"Would you consider them failed prototypes as well?"

It depends on the view of the DEV of the game. Like I said, I use this place as testing grounds (which is why I release here, get opinions and then change stuff before actually selling the game). F95 is a tool, I don't abandon anything, I only make changes to make it more comercially viable from my point of view (Rise of the Outcast Hero art being re-used for My Demon Family or Dawn of Malice being reworked into Family Breeding)

A lot of people have enjoyed my games, a lot of people have hated my games, it's normal. No big deal, there's a game for everyone. I suggest everyone that hates my games to just not play my next games, lol.

>Think of it like Solo Leveling, but with a twist of romance and a whole lot more excitement!
And i immediately loose entire interest to play in this game. Cause this manhwa is uninteresting as hell and annoying for poping up here and there

I don't think the game didn't sell well just because it was rushed.

I mean I'm sure that's part of it but I think the story just wasn't as interesting to as many people as TA was. And TA's story was chopped in half and also shortened.

For your next game, if there is one, maybe try working out a plan ahead with the story set and timeline made before asking for money? I liked TA for the most part, it was fairly well done but I didn't enjoy this one sadly but I'd like to see more of your work in the future, don't give up but do learn from what went wrong.

it was not selling well in early access already, that's the whole reason why it was rushed.
Our other games have done well in early access.

This is wild, of course they feel rushed. You start these grand narratives with mystery, intrigue and deeper themes than the surface, then at some point the narrative just gets hit by the horny train and is left to die on the side of the road. Why even bother starting these threads you never plan to finish? Just drop the pretense and do something like Incestral Awakening (Patreon approved: Insexual Awakening) where one day the protag just wakes up and decides fuck it, he's gonna fuck and impregnate his entire family. If you start these interesting plots then just ditch them to go pure horny, don't be surprised if people are left feeling unimpressed with rushed-feeling endings. I really liked your two previous games until their endings so I specifically avoided this unless reviews proved otherwise and I'm definitely going to avoid the other one because the endings of the previous ones were so frustratingly anticlimatic, and it looks to have gotten worse rather than any better, so I definitely don't wanna bother with that again. I'm sure you don't care but if people like me who love incest + impreg are avoiding your future projects and it's hurting your sales, perhaps that's something that's worth considering.

Like, I don't even think it would be that hard to fix the other games, spend a bit of time finishing where you were going with the spirit in Tamas, sort out whatever the fuck situation with that reality-bending 4th-wall breaking character in Family Breeding was so it doesn't feel like some afterthought. Maybe add some epilogue for extra hornies, bam you're way more likely to convert people who enjoyed those games to your next one. Or just go full horny / make the actual plot points relevant for the intrigue but reasonably complete before it suddenly ends unresolved, embrace your niche and maybe don't shit all over people who enjoyed your writing but were appropriately critical you didn't follow through with it. :|

Family Breeding doesn't have reality-bending 4th-wall breaking. That was Dawn of Malice.
I made a way simpler plot in Family Breeding (MC must breed his family to become the Head of Family and enjoy the riches of his ancestors.)

It worked well. Like I said, I learned my lesson with this game and I won't bother making deeper plots or stories anymore.

My bad, I kinda bounced off that one cos it was using characters/art *from* Dawn of Malice and must have confused them.

Ok, suppose it makes sense you did basically do what I was suggesting, and it seems to work for you, good to hear, but it's still a shame stuff like Dawn of Malice fizzled like it did, the plot was genuinely really interesting and I was excited to see where you went with it. Ah well, good luck with your future games then.

I could literally redownload Tamas right now and go look at all the plot elements that are in that game that were completely just left in the wind and forgotten like the entire "other person/demon with powers" thing that there was that literally just disappeared in to the void
you can say it's 'complete' all you want but it was absolutely rushed

2 - Family Breeding
Same as above with a bit more plot. Plot is you need to get everyone pregnant to become family head, you do it and game ends.
COMPLETED GAME, NO RUSHED ENDING.
Conveniently leaving out how by your own words when you started it that this was using character designs from 'Dawn of Malice' which you abandoned because yet again the story was too large for you I guess (despite the story being, as far as I remember, just 'I want to get my family and friends pregnant and also this world is a game'

Which, as we can see in this thread, you seemingly didn't learn from for TNA since yet again you went for a larger plot that you decided doesn't sell enough to justify continuing with

Other people already brought up Outcast Hero so I won't bother with that

Right here that's 4/6 of your published games (at least that I know of) which are some form of abandoned

Which is, to be clear again, a shame. You have a good artist, and a solid basis for writing the mind control/pregnancy kink scene
You literally just need to focus on making games that you can finish to a level that people aren't going to go "wow so this was crazy rushed" like they have been for, to be clear, four games now

I don't play porn games on steam but i'm pretty sure if I went to basically any of your releases there they would have mixed reviews for very likely these same reasons

I don't offer any of this feedback to be an asshole, even. I like your games. I want you to improve to make better games.
Doing so requires you acknowledge feedback even if you don't like it. Making games for a profit isn't a bad thing, either. That's perfectly acceptable, and is in fact the basis behind the entire video game industry.
But you should make them good and finish them. Even if you don't think it's going to sell well, there's nothing stopping you from just asking for basic sketches or even just no art to save money and just writing out the rest of the game to a satisfactory degree.

I like seeing artists succeed, and while porn games are oft-considered a 'lesser' form of gaming, people can and do make art here too. But it requires sticking to it, even if you don't think it's going well.

edit: This is my last comment in this thread to be clear, since I don't want to be like
dogpiling/brigading whiteleaf. I'm just giving my feedback to a creator who can and does have good ideas

Damn, I've seen some rushed endings but this one gave me whiplash and still left a bunch of open questions. Mysterious god that gave the MC his powers makes 1 appearance and then never mentioned again. The Academy he just quit not long after he started and before the tournament where the bad guys just won, so not much use as a plot device at all. Family LI's were knocked up but so was Aoi, but tough shit for her, MC prob left her pregnant and abandoned. Only action poor Skye got was a french kiss and not even a good-bye- or a pity-fuck. Since the MC quit trying to be a hunter his relic rope was just left to tangle on his closet floor and poor Anastasia was left to rot in the void and never summoned again. The list goes on. I mean with the amount of wasted potential this felt like it was originally planned to be 10x bigger than this "completed" version. Up to now I've always said completed is always better than abandoned no matter how it happens but now I'm reconsidering that opinion.

Very disappointing a rushed ending. Luna is clearly the authors favorite. I was hoping Alice get at least one fuck scene during the exercises since it kept being teased previous updates. So many other girls I thought we would get but oh well.
