Then i guess you would want to pay 1$ to see the end credits alone?
that is the Patreon model which is not the same, as when a chapter costs 10 coins and you can pay 5 coins to see the half of the chapter.
Which is the full price of the half chapter, logical isn't it ?

Please keep yours and Ceolag's milking escapades between yourselves.
I am talking more in general that buying a license of an Early access game there is a chance that whatever you have bought is it, no more updates no more development.
Paying 50% of a movie ticket price to see 50% of the movie is wack.
In my opinion, when you purchase an early access game or support a dev via something like Patreon, it's much better to look at it from the perspective of "investing" rather than "buying". Investments carry more risk by their nature, but by doing so you help provide necessary resources to potentially get to a final product.

Yes it cost 50% of the total production value to make half the game.
But story wise stopping mid point is wack AF, and as a buyer a cohesive beginning middle and end make the game enjoyable to its full price.
And also Steam is a store front, not a patreon where continuous support is a given.
Seems like everyone's about to START cranking......
im tired boss.....

My misunderstand then, heh. The statement about 50% of the movie three threw me off I guess
Me supporting or not a project does not change my attitude towards this kind of stuff.
If i buy(License) anything, i don't expect it to get better over time. i get what i paid for at the moment of purchase, be it a game or a car.
