Yeah that should be have been definitely an option. I hoppe we get real options to be pissed at them and make it clear, not only some half assed ranting from the MC.

In the last update, when we resscued the father, i really would have loved the option the greet him with a nice punch in the face infront of the whole gathering. For all the shit the MC had to face, being not prepared at all (for some reason) despite having some special powers and all their lies.

I also find it kind of amusing...it's just a circle-jerk shitshow of events really...let me explain in detail as don't think it's been discussed much before:

1. Parents don't want us involved. Assign us a bodyguard/protector.
2. Said bodyguard/protector in reality, constantly fails to do her job as she is never fucking around.
3. Never being around, is a root cause for their relationship issues.
4. Root cause for relationship issues is not being around, because our bodygaurd constantly lies to us about where she is/what her job is.
5. Daddy gets kidnapped....first thing mom thinks of is to get us home. (this could be daddy/templat protocol).
6. Therefore, she must assume we would be in real danger. So...isn't that what our bodyguard is for...just a thought...
7. Say we get home (no mercenary accident etc)...what would mom tell us? Oh darling...you're father been kidnapped...
8. Uhh wow mom...why would anyone kidnap someone who put's LED's into televisions? *wierd shrug face*
9. Oh well..son...you see...what it is...then...well how do I put this...
10. So, in reality, whatever happened, we would have found out the truth. So, in that case, why get the numpty Paul to pick us up...when mom may as well just got Kaija to do it...you know...what her actual job is...

Seems for the most part, protecting us is actually a side-gig for Kaija....

I tend to walk away and stew a bit before I get mad at people. Being a VN, I figured my MC couldn't do that so it was anger first and let them talk the MC down over time with some explanation, but nooo, mommy dearest has more secrets. Regardless of who did what, I reckon MC is justified in being pissed with them all initially.

I think once we see her away from the Templars she may be a lot nicer. She does like humans, I think it is mainly Templars she has an issue with. She wanted them ended after all. I will of course take one for the team and offer myself to spend some time with her alone in a bedroom with room service for a week. Some one has to sacrifice themselves for the greater good.

Hm, from what we know Medb started nothing.
The mercs which attacked weren't working for the elves (likely the faction which works with the hellspawn), succubus attack ..well bad luck i guess and we don't know who was responsible for abduction the old man (one of the queens i guess), but well, occupational hazard.

You can blame Medb for her bitchy first impression as ambassador...but well, dealing with the templars even for a few days and nearly getting robed of some legendary sword by none less than one of their leaders, i can understand where her shitty attitude towards them comes from...imagine dealing with them for decades or centuries...

I wouldn't be against to give her ass same slaps thought, it's worth the risk

Yep, she is doing an absolutely shitty job as bodyguard/protector.

-We know she's away very often, so bad luck if something happens to the MC.

-Merc attack, pure luck the MC survived until she came, 'poor' Paul didn't have so much luck.

-Directly after being attacked, you would assume she wouldn't let the MC unprotected again...yet he gets attackt by a succubus the next evening, no sign of her, again pure luck he survived.

-Neverwhere, we were told several times how dangerous it is, that we are not prepared and wouldn't survive alone and she's getting a direct order to protect the MC there.
Kaija at the first sign of enemies ''I'm off fighting hellspawn, you can run to the next portal alone''
MC: not knowning shit about Neverwhere, nor the city, can't defend himself, has not even a weapon, has no idea where the next portal even is...
