Honestly, I think getting kicked out of Elven territory without that closure is way more powerful, and allows for a lot more nuance down the road. Depending on how your Alex bonded with Finn, this event could inform his (your) choices going forward.
If that was the idea, shouldn't we get a chance to express our displeasure at the unjust treatment now rather than meekly agreeing and expecting to retroactively address the slight in a future update? "A curse on the stiff neck of the Alfar" or some such?

Practically, that's difficult to achieve. Ceo can't know why a player is making certain choices regarding Finn/Medb/Elves... If he makes Alex react in a certain way, this might not align with a player's motivation.

That... would make it hard for how the Alfar treated the MC to inform what choices we'll get down the line, no? It will only get harder to react to the player's motivation the more time and other events are added to the pile while we wait.

If you're saying that letting us see the scene now would force us to get more (unintended) content in future chapters, that's easily addressed. Just add a separate flag for having 15+ RP with Medb at the close of the chapter (or piggyback off MedbPathLock=False, which is nearly the same thing at the moment).

What's the point of the side girls in this game? You can't get relationship endings with them right?

might as well ask what's the point in side girls in general / in every AVN out there. Also how do you know there won't be a ending with a side girl. Has the developer said so??? Even if he did who cares they care called side characters for reason get this it's like they are side content that doesn't matter if you do it or not, just like side quest in RPG's.

Well, the side girls in this specific game are not bad, Liked all their content, Helena, Anissa, Kari, Kate, Finnabair...
even those, like Sato, Mab, Linnae have their class.
Plus they let you get accion, while the LI are still building up. so bring them on.

Or is a 3rd party trying to stoke the fire, and made it look that way?
Fair warning - this is a lot of my speculation and definitely a TLDR if you are not interested in the 'politics' of what happened in the latest chapter/may happen in the next chapter.

I absolutely believe that there is a third party involved but not sure how, re: Finnabair's murder.

For all we know, one of the Alfar hotheads could be in league with the third party (the way it seems some of the Templars are).

Finnabair's sudden turnaround from a human hating Alfar (being Medb's duaghter helped to counter Medb's efforts at peace) to someone not easily manipulated by that/those Alfar hotheads decided to let the third party know and arrange an ambush - by Templars or made to look like Templars.

This would be a two-fer - two birds with one stone - kill Medb's daughter and silence a new voice of reason that could have upset the third-party plans for war.

This is some very good intrigue, where we do not know who to trust among at least some of the Templars (is their leadership chain of command compromised??).

If there are Alfar working at the Pussy Twister in Neverwhere - it seems at least some of them have chosen? to leave Alfheimr for reasons currently unknown.

Were they banished or are they gathering information for the Alfar or the third party much like Nightingale was?

It seems likely that 'rogue' Alfar are working against peace in Neverwhere and other worlds - even Earth.

We have almost no idea about where Fiona fits into all this except that she sides with the MC (at least on her path) - she even escorted the MC to help protect/watch over him when he went to meet Medb and get his father back (and she did it so well that not a single Templar noticed).

So is she Alfar, dark Alfar - SvartAlfar - perhaps (if I did not butcher the spelling..:p ) who chose to leave Ireland or the portal that linked Ireland to Neverwhere and her world what could be a thousand years or more in the past?

It makes me wonder if her cabin in the woods is near a little-known entrance to Neverwhere and the '80 minutes to Paris' via train (Kaija and MC conversation during the first trip to Neverwhere) is a few hours 'jog' (Fiona speed) to reach Ireland/a portal to the home world of the SvartAlfar.

There are so many interesting possibilities for the next chapter and beyond!

Cheers!! :coffee:
