Well, she may not be 'connected' directly....(unless mommy and daddy are lying and we're the kid she rescued...but that aside), she isn't human, she knows Neverwhere....she very much involved in the overarching plot...

Knew a dude who married a girl after she pulled a gun on him. She'd quit drinking in-between, but it still didn't work out (unsurprisingly). He's still alive tho - which I was skeptical about for awhile there. IDK what her status is these days.
