I'm on Fiona's romance path and I'll believe it when I see it.While you may be right, all the clues are there. She knows about Neverwhere (and a hell of a lot more we don't know), if you have told her everything, it would be easy for her to spot and then follow you. it ONLY happens on her romance path, no other path...and given the achievement title for kissing her, we know she is also not human (ok, maybe a stretch with that last one but it's just one hint).

Agree with all of that. She is truly a masterpiece creation.
The only thing I would add is your comment "I see so many defending her with the whole "She disobeyed her orders to come save the MC when he was in danger!"
Full disclosure, I am a confirmed "don't trust Kaija" person.
I don't believe she disobeyed any orders to save MC (I acknowledge she claims she did, but she is a confirmed liar, however noble the reasons). Her prime directive is to protect MC. Any chain of command will tell you, your prime directive will ALWAYS override a day to day command. You day to day command cannot be at odds with your prime directive. Therefore, she has not disobeyed any Templar rules, in fact, she followed them. IMO.

But that would mean the entire council, including Linnae is in on that lie. That doesn't make sense to me. If Kaija breaks off from her mission to come to you, there will be dialog that acknowledges that she did exactly that.

I'm aware of dialogue between Kaija & MC that she broke off mission to save him. I'm not aware of any dialogue from Linnae or any council member that indicates she is in any trouble for doing it. (If that happened, I have missed it).
But even so, without the 5th vote from MC Dad, they cannot override her prime directive which is to protect MC, which she did. I can't see how she can be in trouble or punished for doing what she was ordered to do and has done for a majority of her life.

Yeah military chain of command works that way true, the only thing is If she were re-asigned for another task, dismissing her primary directive, what seemed to happen in this case, MC protection was assigned to the team protecting the Callisters.
She was never the one in charge.
Strange that in the moment where the Greatmaster is abducted, the only one who is tasked with his safety is drawn out and given her another mission.
The other wicked thing is; although Kaija lied, she doesn't lie everytime she speaks, in none of the paths, one thing is consistent in all 3 paths of hers, is that she cares about their friendship.
(don't come with she should have thought of it before ...and similar) Is all valid, what I'm trying to say none of you did take a wrong decision out of fear loosing a valuable friendship ?

Please, don't think I'm not having a go at her. I'm not. I was trying to point out (however poorly), that she is an accomplished liar., it's just part of who she was trained to be. I like the friendship path with Kaija best (because I don't feel I can trust her and I need complete trust in a relationship), and she clearly values their friendship. Lying to him, is just what she has done, and so good at it, he had no idea there was an issue. So it is hard to believe she is telling the truth at anytime, you'd never know.
I also think it extremely suspicious for her to be called away right when MC needs protection the most. But, in my understanding, for her to be in trouble with the council, they must have directly told her to NOT save MC, thereby overriding her prime directive (or she has done nothing wrong). To do that, they must have 3 of the 4 votes agreeing to it. If 3 or all 4 did this, it is evidence of a widespread conspiracy throughout the council.
If they just reassigned her and she broke mission to save him and she is not in trouble, then there is no evidence of conspiracy (doesn't mean there isn't one though). It would simply be, Why did you it, Oh ok. No problem.
I just went and checked, and Kaija admits that she broke off mission (in both paths), but she does not say that she is in trouble for it. I can't actually think of anytime anybody says Kaija is in trouble for breaking off mission, just that she did. Can you?

Love route - Broke orders and came to save MC. Non-love route - Was told to break current task and go save MC.

By 2 paths I meant the love path & the friendship path. The 2 where she broke mission. I didn't mean the 3rd (non-love/hate path), I haven't played it, but I understand you're right.
