I don't even know that it exactly scares people away, so much as shit just makes threads a pain in the ass to navigate. Sifting through hundreds of essentially the same five posts repeated cyclically by the same five or six posters ad nauseam, to get to actual discussion or information makes reading through a thread organically all but impossible. As a result, people eventually just stop trying and leave the threads to the handful of people who apparently enjoy that sort of tedium.

One thing is for certain though, it definitely doesn't do the game or its dev any favors.

Exactly. But the mods don't care in that thread. They just need to thread ban five dudes there and the thread would be good again, but no. Let them waste server space with bullshit.

which is why I try to make some comments once in awhile about how good she is while not trying to convince anyone as don't want to start yet another Kaija debate that has been talked about for ages haha

That wasn't the point and the Kaija hate is just an inside joke. Every player loves her, because she isn't evil at all.

I don't consider it a joke it's fucking constant. How do you think casual Kaija fans feel? It keeps hardcores like me from commenting much.

dude Joshy one day it was so bad for me I just went and took a nap cause it actually upset me to the point I didn't want to do anything for the rest of the day. But it's been a bit better as of late I noticed

There's more than just the hate, bro. Ceolag sees the love for her, Medb, Fiona and all the others. Devs want to see discussion. It means they're doing things right. Controversy is a key component to storylines.

I thought it had been a lot better recently. I haven't seen the hate that I used to, but maybe as she's not my favorite, I just haven't noticed.

Remember that Ceo said he would start killing off future LIs if the DTK comments didn't stop. I know he was joking, but it's pretty clear he loves her too. He won't be killing her off.
