I updated the walkthrough mod based on LaikDink's mod, and found errors in the first two chapters which I corrected. I played loaded saves and started a new playthrough to test and fix any bugs. All I took care of was the walkthrough portion, but rest of the mod remains the same. EDIT - I mismarked a choice in Chapter 1 - I'll blame it on me not having my glasses on when I should have, and a severe lack of coffee. If anymore choices you find mismarked, let me know. Also, renamed the folder to 5.0 and uploaded the correction.
thanks a lot, i wish the gallery part didnt require any modification. but seems like all of it have to be added manually to the mod ?

My apologies for not doing this sooner, but I wanted to focus on getting the walkthrough done, but the Gallery portion is finished now, finally. Next release I'll get everything done and uploaded at the same time, when I don't place myself under a self-imposed time restraint.

Did you ever call Elves bitches? I swear that's what did it for me, I had been at 13 points, but no scenes, followed the following guide and it worked out for me.

In this last update
, the points with mabd are: (i got max doing this way) sorry if i missed anything
- is she hurt? (+1)
- i understand her (+1)
- spare her life (maintain her path open)
- her call (+1)
- take a bath (+1)
- concentrate (+1)
- is Alfar better? (+1)
- are Alfar bitches? (+1)
- i can show you (+1)
- sure (maintain her path open)
- long life spans, humans attack, dark elves....all options . (if you say no without going into at least 1 option first you get -3 madb points, better to choose all)
- im in ( the other option locks her path)
- get closer (+1)
- call me "mcs name" (+1)
- the language (+1) ( go into all the other options too just to be sure)
- i didnt mean to ...
- keep your mouth shut (+1)
- im sorry (other choice gives you -3 madb points)
(you can refuse pass mcs time off with finnabar if you want)
- accept the lesson (if you decline medbs path will be closed)

Don't know what the dev is trying to pull with the story anymore.

I think that was exactly the point of MC going there, to gain insight into their culture.
All he's seen and heard so far was from the mouths of Templars, and we all know how trustworthy they are.

It is just hinted but MC has great potential and now after the elf training he will be crazy good. Several characters (Linnae, Kaija, Oberon, Finnabair) praise his potential. In chap 1, the mercenary boss call him very dangerous. Sending him to the elves was also a good way to buff him up quickly.

So far MC has :

- great battle IQ (subtly trained by his father since he was a kid)
- 6th sense/spider sense
- Mental strength (able to resist a succubus and to tolerate Mab's glance)
- Magical sword with healing abilities

Before even going to the elves, he is able to kill several Hellspawn with Nightingale without too much trouble (they are folders but they still killed a few Elves the first time). Now after the traing he is buffed up. I'm sure Templars will throw everything at MC to have him by their side

when are we going to find out what the other sword is? it seemed to be a bronze sword and although they said talk to the Norse I think it could be from the Greek, Egyptian, or Babylonian which are all bronze age civilizations, maybe the sword of Troy or something.
Definitely celtic. At first I thought Sword of the Siegfried or something from Nibelung which happened at the migration period, but as it seems to be made of totally bronze, it is over thousand years older. Then I checked some legendary celtic swords and got some names from the legends of Tuatha de Danann and such. Of those my guess would be:

Díoltach (Retaliator), one of the three main swords of the sea-god Manannán mac Lir. The sword that “never failed to slay”

I would be poetic that our hero wielded sword of peace on the other hand and sword of the retaliation on the other hand.

Btw. The name of Durendal bothered me as I had always thought it to be Durandal, but apparently they're both valid spellings.

ps. Which one of you did it? " A replica sword that was embedded in a rock face there was reported stolen in June 2024."

Thanks for the info. I love hearing this stuff.(y)

I'd start by checking the dude in the black helmet. He's often pulling strings behind the scenes! ;)

I read the comments here before playing the update and thought someone more significant was offed. I mean, she was nice for a ride (not a fan of the hateful cold hearted bitch melts over time trope), but that's it.

I just started playing this for the first time but wow.. is it ever dark in the bar scenes where he first meets Kate the bar owner's niece. I can't even see her face in some of the renders. I guess thats so you don't know who your taking home at closing time.
