The most exciting thing for me is - it's not just multiple playthroughs for LI-scenes. On each route you also get some new info about the universe, see the story from different perspective, like creating a puzzle.

So eventually to get the whole picture, playing every path (at least main ones) is a must have.
there is a separate Lore thread if you like , and are interested.
Link is in the OP

That's why I have multiple playthroughs!

I'm not going to miss any of my chosen LI's/Side girl's content.

Cheers!! :coffee:

Yeah, I know, thanks man. I wanna dive in some day, I just don't spend too much time on this forum lately.

p.s. Instead of editing my comment I literally deleted it. Hard day today shows I guess, it's time to go to sleep)))

i'm really sorry but the guy is so goofy looking, this is the first time I wish the game is in first person POV instead.
I think it's not his face in isolation that took me out. I think it's a combination between his face, his skin tone, and his face render for some reason, looks a bit "grainy", for lack of better word. The "grainy" part is the worse of all the above. It feels like the image of his face doesn't look "sharp".

I hope i can get used to it cuz ppl say the story is good.

It won't hit like that; it has to be run and the file needs to be downloaded. Like I said above, you would know if you have it by checking that folder.
Yeah, that link was the first think I checked and seen the YouTube video :ROFLMAO:
hi! sorry for tagging for a question that happened 2 months ago.

I dont rmmbr when i downloaded my copy of Neverwhere Tales whether it's before August 1st or after. And I didn't check the date before immediately deleting it. So I checked my renpy tokens folder and didn't find auto3it file. Only security and upgraded

Will the auto3it file auto-delete itself or if i don't find it that means i'm "possibly/likely" safe?

Hey everyone,

I'm feeling better for the most part after spending the last weekend almost completely in bed.
I've been back to work (the job and the game) since Monday. The evening hours are still a bit short because I'm usually pretty tired and go to bed early.
I hope to get back to my normal schedule next week.

Considering this, the progress is still acceptable (for me...).
I started working on one of the longest scenes/parts of Chapter 6 which will probably keep me busy for the next 2 weeks.
It already has nearly 100 renders but I expect it to come out with at least 300 (knowing me, it's probably even more...) and several animations.

The numbers for this week:
70 new static renders for a total of 638
1 new animation for a total of 4
180 new lines in the script file for a total of 1832

Have a nice weekend, guys.
Stay healthy and safe,
Ceolag

Your "Denglish" is always amusing
for almost 25 yrs without writing German, sorry for the ortographic errors, worst is that I have to use Spanish in day to day and English; when I get to speak German it is mostly "Belgrano - Deutsch" So yeah my German is a bit rusted.

okay, but that's not what I meant, it's because you used German within an English text. Unless... no, I don't think so btw. it wasn't bad at all. RESPECT

Based on the latest numbers, Ceolag is currently averaging around 53 static renders. 0.3 animations and 153 lines per week since work on Chapter 6 began. Here are the charts:

Work remains fairly steady, not much more to add. The previews are interesting, it looks like the MC is going to head back to work at least for a little while. I'll be curious to see how that works out.

Can't get it to run. Tried to open it 3 times, the "loading" banner pops up in black and white, never changes and then disappears and the program closes. (PC version fyi)

How odd....

New download or you had a copy since the last update was released (which was bugged and had a virus)?

Nuke the C:\Users\XXXXXX\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\TheNeverwhereTales-1638101588 persistent file, and also fresh "install" of the game is needed.

Hey everyone,

Another week has passed by, and it is time for the next Dev Log.
Overall, this week has been pretty good. I was able to get back to my usual schedule which was good timing because the day job is usually pretty busy at the start of the month.
Most of my time for the game went into writing, coding, and setting up static renders.
Still quite a lot to do for the scene I'm currently working on. Expect the preview renders of this and next week to be a bit same-ish.

Overall, this scene I'm working on shows me again that branching sucks from a development point of view. :-D
Some of the paths through that scene are pretty complex. That's going to be fun to test...

The focus for next week will be static renders for the already written and coded part and coding a good chunk of the remaining stuff for this scene.
Hopefully, I can focus on setting up the animations in the week after.
More on that next Friday.

The numbers for this week:
82 new static renders for a total of 720
0 new animations
438 new lines in the script file for a total of 2270

Have a nice weekend, guys.
Cheers,
Ceolag
