Sorry about that
didn't mean to put a downer on your day, just being honest
believe me, if it was more than just achievements I would have happily bought it
but due to my previous experience, I need a bit more out of these games if I'm going to buy them from steam.
No, it's ok, water under the bridge, actually I'm honestly thankfull, about what has transpired it helps me in my personal growth.
In this, thread you can be open, and voice your concerns, and they will be adressed in a friendly maner, most of the nicer members are here, so the average tone is chill and relaxed, with silly banter from time to time.

I did that with two other games, only for those to be abandoned shortly after
so, I'm a little cynical if I'm going to purchase these types of games
Well, even if TNT would get abandoned, which I really can't see on the horizon, it's fair to pay for work. You know, most games get abandoned because it's expensive to make them and devs don't earn enough to pay for assets, licenses, etc.

Reading a story that isn't finished is worth alot less than the % of its completion.
I am speaking only if the game is abandoned or super heavy milking is going on.

The only reason it might get abandoned is due to it being leaked early than the dev hoped for he lost some cash for the last update. He understands well people can't afford to sub every month but dropping a low amount for the update does make all that difference to him

Every dev is a milker who don't make releases every four months with at least 5k renders. That's literally "how to act on F95" rule 1. Ceolag is one of the worst. Dude is only telling good stories, making nice special renders for the crowd, giving weekly updates, communicates with the audience,... argh... I can't stand the guy and how he milks me every day...

Please keep yours and Ceolag's milking escapades between yourselves.
I am talking more in general that buying a license of an Early access game there is a chance that whatever you have bought is it, no more updates no more development.
Paying 50% of a movie ticket price to see 50% of the movie is wack.

Isn't that paying the fair price for the Half of the movie ? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Then i guess you would want to pay 1$ to see the end credits alone?
that is the Patreon model which is not the same, as when a chapter costs 10 coins and you can pay 5 coins to see the half of the chapter.
Which is the full price of the half chapter, logical isn't it ?

In my opinion, when you purchase an early access game or support a dev via something like Patreon, it's much better to look at it from the perspective of "investing" rather than "buying". Investments carry more risk by their nature, but by doing so you help provide necessary resources to potentially get to a final product.

Yes it cost 50% of the total production value to make half the game.
But story wise stopping mid point is wack AF, and as a buyer a cohesive beginning middle and end make the game enjoyable to its full price.
And also Steam is a store front, not a patreon where continuous support is a given.
Seems like everyone's about to START cranking......
im tired boss.....
