I really enjoy the story to this VN. Its one of the better ones in my opinion. Don't worry about getting attached to the girls, well except Finn, but you know that already.

Think story is at its best when you do get attached, not just to Finn, but to all (or most) of them.
It depends if he is fine with having the story spoiled (some are) or wants to discover the story himself which is what I prefer. I tend to err on the side of caution and let people work it for themselves. If they want the story spoiled, its easy enough for them to ask.
