That would be super strange since the Celts didn't use runes - at least not until the Norse came, they used ogham, but even that came about in the early Medieval period, 1,000 possibly 2,000 years after people stopped using bronze for swords.
The original, which served as model is one of the Grûndlingen swords they had only a bronze hilt, with antopomorphic form, (it is posted somewhere in the begining of this thread, don't remeber if it was mentioned with what materials it was made in the Novel though.

Sorry I edited my previous post but when MC describes the sword to the Lady of the Lake she says that it's not one of hers and it sounds Norse. That's why I suggested Kari (Kari is kind of an odd character, she's supposed to be a Valkerie - chooser of the slain - and they're supposed to be super neutral.)

Well, they serve Odin, but Morrigan is their leader and she has kind of rivalry with Odin, concerning the fallen Warriors and she hints that her supervisor sent her there,

Hmm ok, is she supposed to be a Templar though? Or she just visits them from time to time?

Also ... maybe the lady in the picture is supposed to be Boudicca? That might account for the bronze (but not the runes). She's frequently pictured with red hair - though she's mostly legend, no one knows anything about her for sure, the only record are a few Roman accounts from 100+ years after the fact.

No no Valkyres in the Templar rows, besides I don't remeber if it was Linnae or Maria after Medbs audience, that explains that she has nothing to do with Templars that she apeared on free will as sign of goodwill, later Kari in the pub goes a bit more into details about it.

Oh .... hmm ... I may have to start a Kari save then. I mean I suspect that she's just going to be a side girl, but I like Kari. I just didn't want to get involved with another Templar. Although dating a Valkerie doesn't seem like the smartest play. Kinda like dating the Grim Reaper.

I may have cheated on Kaija with Kari and Fin last update haha. Honestly if Kari wasn't a side girl she be one of my favorites tho I suspect she isn't a full fledge Templar like Kaija but more someone that is allied with them.

Again you shock me Dess, I would never have expected you would cheated on your beloved Kaija. Is her angel halo slipping? Or just your halo? :p

Hmmm ... that could get complicated. I may form different alliances in different saves but definitely not with the Templars.

But one of the perks of the Kaija neutral / or the hate path is ...

SEE! FIN! Oh and you thought Fin would be dangerous to have an argument with, imagine Kari ... the Valkerie literally choose who is going to die today. She doesn't even have to touch you ... just go "that one."

IIRC the details are in the Lore & Legend thread.

Since no one asked, at some point, in some game, some character needs to break the 4th wall and complain about everyone talking shit about them on F95.

I have no problem with her personally. She was put in an impossible situation. My problem is because of the way things went down, you can never know if her professed love for you is part of her mission or not. She's a good enough actor that I wouldn't be able to tell.

I wish it weren't so, but I just cannot trust the Templars in general after all the bullshit they've tried.

Especially since the parents motives don’t even add up. You don’t protect someone who is a high value target by not telling them they’re a target or telling them what to watch out for or teaching them how to defend themselves. You also don’t give them a bodyguard who is never actually with them or easy to get ahold of. So, what? She’ll be able to let someone know with 48 to 72 hours if you die or go missing? I also don’t like how Kaija changes depending on your path - if you pretend everything is fine she’s lovey dovey but if you get angry and ditch her she’s ambivalent - makes it seem like she’s acting.

Not for me on the Love path. I agree about the Templars but for me I felt like I could tell she did loved you on the love path personally and is struggling to stay loyal to the Templars like her loyalty to the Templars is wavering but that is just my personal interpretation.

I also don’t like how Kaija changes depending on your path - if you pretend everything is fine she’s lovey dovey but if you get angry and ditch her she’s ambivalent - makes it seem like she’s acting.
I think this where it helps being able to separate all her paths into different version of the same character. For me I see Kaija being 3 different characters base on your path. So my opinion of the Hate and friend path doesn't effect my opinion of her on the Love path since I separate them. But if you dislike her before picking the path yeah it won't help much just might take you from wanting to kill her to not wanting to kill her for example since I know you mentioned a few times you can't wait to off her.

Yeah, she can change her story completely mid-playthrough depending on your choices. I'll quote myself from earlier in the thread:
You can get all or most of her points in the beginning of the VN, and during the conversation with the MC, Jessica, their mother, and Kaija at the table, Kaija indicates that her feelings for the MC were genuine. However, if the MC is (understandably) cold to her following that discussion, later at HQ she says that the relationship was a convenience that she was too much of a coward to back out of. The high RP version of that dialogue is once again about her feelings being genuine.
