I think this where it helps being able to separate all her paths into different version of the same character. For me I see Kaija being 3 different characters base on your path. So my opinion of the Hate and friend path doesn't effect my opinion of her on the Love path since I separate them. But if you dislike her before picking the path yeah it won't help much just might take you from wanting to kill her to not wanting to kill her for example since I know you mentioned a few times you can't wait to off her.

I think thats kinda the crux for Kaija, this isnt the same person reactiving different, its a different version of Kaija depending on the path youre on.

Im like you and like her, i think its mostly players who self insert a lot and "share" the emotions with the mc who cant stand her and are kinda throwing all versions of her in one bag (which is of course everyone free to do so).

I think a lot of people didnt even played the full points kaija love path and have no clue about her love-path version

I wouldnt put that on the character tho, its obviously a idea from the dev how the mc can start the story with a gf without the player feeling bad for the breakup (because its justified and even feels right on the non-love path).

Not for me on the Love path. I agree about the Templars but for me I felt like I could tell she did loved you on the love path personally and is struggling to stay loyal to the Templars like her loyalty to the Templars is wavering but that is just my personal interpretation.

That is a good way to look at it Dess. I'd call it love path, middle path and angry path. I don't get the vibe she hates the MC on any path. Kaija loves him, is in between love and friend, or just sees him as a friend. It's a bit hard for the MC to 'hate' her yet. He has to process all the shit that went down. I'd be very angry and hurt. hate might come later. Depends.

She is peripheral at best....no more. Kate and Uncle...for damn sure though Kate may know next to nothing. Angus definitely knows most of what is going on.

Really hope Kate is just normal person, with unhappy coincidence she works in a place whose owner is linked to Neverwhere.
She's, for a change, nice. Wouldn't want her to be linked to any of it.

Not everyone needs to be linked to supernatural events. It's not CW show for crying out loud.

100% this. If Elea is confirmed to be a certain Templar's daughter, while we've all seen it coming, it would actually be a little disapppointing personally. It's at a risk of becoming a fantasy Intertwinnied....there's too much connected now...as you say, it's nice to meet and be involved (even just on a day to day friend basis) with people that are not involved/connected in any way.

And some wonder what my obsession with Anaiss is...not only is she godamn hot (and black...so sue me)...she disconnected from all the shit going on. Again, I really will be slightly disappointed if Elea is also connected...all 4 LI's a part of the world I'd personally, rather just forget about on more than a few of my saves.

Yes aware of that, and I didn't mean it in a sexual way, she is a great story carrier and a good 3rd option if you bail out of Templars and Kaija suport, another fact about her what brought up my curiosity , is the fact that she is skilled in combat, (Kaija aknowleges that she is good, in chapter 4) she knows her way in Neverwhere (Midgaard or Midheim) has certain motivation, (she looks for disapeared orphans , black haired girl).
We were introduced a bit in her background story.
