I said to someone on a Discord server awhile back that this game is either going to be a textbook example of how to do a multi-path game or a textbook example of biting off more than you can chew as a Dev because if you are loyal to Kajia and didn't burn bridges with your parents there should be almost zero overlap between the next chapter for me and the next chapter for you. Unless it's a work related thing, or maybe a meeting with Fiona but even then the dialogue should be different.

I'm not ignoring reality. I'm responding to it. At least I'm not one of the people who's like "I mean, I know Kajia lied to me constantly about everything since the day I met her, but she has such a nice ass that I don't care."
Nice strawman, let's see how far it takes you.

First, I'm not looking for it to take me anywhere. Second, it's not really a strawman. Kajia's looks are really her only redeeming feature. She has been completely dishonest with MC about absolutely everything - who she is, who he is, who his parents are, who she works for ... for as long as they've known each other and now people are all "well, she says she's sorry and I'll bet she'll never lie to me again now because she pouted and stuff". And people think I'm gullible for believing Medb who ... hasn't always been 100% honest, she hasn't said stuff that she could have but as far as I can tell neither she nor any of the elves have straight up lied about anything so far. If you didn't kill Finn, you just spent 7 weeks (7 days in the human world) being trained by the elves (including their king) and they answered almost every question - about themselves, about history, about Templars, about magic and weapons and other magical beings. There were a few things where they said "I'm sorry, but that is a secret and I can't tell you." but not one lie. You even got to learn all about your sword, it's origins, powers and history. And this is from people who were complete strangers to MC.

I think Killing most of them is still too extreme I get you hate them with a passion. Only one id kill is the bald guy and id consider the rest of the leadership so they don't start an uprising over the new leadership. But id probably let the rest live as they haven't proven to me as far as I can recall needing to be dealt with like the bald guy.
Personally, I see no reason to kill ANY of them, and I hate them all with burning passion.
Trust? Wouldn't trust a single Templar ever.

Family shows best how much a Templar can be trusted. They're all either brainwashed or so stuck in their self-righteousness they can't see how utterly fucking broken their order is.

But for all their fault, and there are more than few, as much as I'd like to burn whole order to the ground, there is no reason whatsoever to kill any of them.
Cruel, evil, twisted they may be, MC is NOT executioner. He is just your everyday person (so far) whose life got turned upside down because of fucked up family valuing everything over their son.

Going on killing path is wrong, on so many levels. Spitting in someone face, or beating few up, yes, sure. Killing? Why? Just because they're cunts? Hardly reason to kill someone.

Neverwhere, Alfar and Templars deserve each others. Let them all burn for all I care.

Pardon the profanities, hard to express level of hatred I feel towards them without a few.

EDIT: That's all assuming events so far.
Should Templars/Alfar/3rd party, still interfere with MCs life once he's out, then anyone's a fair game. Out of my life, or lose a life.
(frequent setup in books: secretly OP protagonists live quiet, secluded life, until evil guys come for him, for some stupid reason...)

I did the Finnabar path, where she became my favorite Li in the game so far. The first relationship that my parents/the Templars didn't have control over - and the Templars killed her. That's why. After everything else, I walked away found someone that they didn't choose/control and they killed her.

And until proven otherwise, I am still sticking with "she was killed by 3rd party". So not blaming Templars for it. Yet.
Also posted few times before that I don't want it to be Templars. Enough reasons to hate them as is. No need to give all bad events to them.

See above. They did it, or at least were involved. And involved is all I need at this point. Before I was enraged but content to just walk away and have nothing further to do with them. Now, they're going to see me again and it's not going to be a happy reunion.

They really did. Wait and see.
exactly what im doing as much as I do like Medb so far. I'm not gonna take her for her word that it was the Templars that did it without talking to someone else. ( preferable Kaija Love Path or Linnae) As I want to hear from both sides and make a judgement call for myself until there is proof showing me otherwise.

After all Fin is her daughter she could be just taking it out on the Templars and jumping to conclusions too quickly because of her grief or she was fed wrong info. Or like other said could be a 3rd party. There is just to many reasons why Medb could be wrong , to take her for her word as much as I do trust her.

yeah the whole situation is fishy at best, any number of things could have happened, and Medb is jumping to conclusions, we shouldn't do the same. She is emotionally compromised right now, so I'll take whatever she says with a grain of salt. Biggest surprise for me would be that we go back, confront the templars about it and they flat out admit they did it :ROFLMAO:

Let's remember that she blames the Templars for her brother's death after eons, even though her brother was there by his own free choice.

sorry to be a "smartass" right now, Medb blames the Humans to have killed her brother, and the Templars for not have saved him, she is more resentfull with the "Knight Templar Order"

I guess they may have made it look like the Templars did it so that's why Medb think so ?

MCs father is conveniently alone somewhere Alfar can take him hostage.
MC was attempted to be taken hostage by someone not linked to Templars or Alfar.
Finn is coincidentally killed by Templars just as things were calming down.

What a nice set of coincidences...

I mean, if that's not enough to point out someone is trying to start war, or just conflict, to further their goals (my money's still on Linnae and Mab + Fiona's family as 3rd party), then I don't know what is...

It wouldn't be the first time they have wrong information, with the excuse that elves don't "lie" they seem to assume to know the truth
