The true canon ending will be MC becoming a popsicle after fucking Mebd and therefore technically being able to stay with her for the rest of her much longer life... albeit in a walk in freezer so he doesn't thaw and decay I guess.

I think that's part of why she became such a beloved character - because she started out as an enemy. The others (apart from Medb) just kinda automatically love MC the moment he shows up. Finnabair you have to work for. It evolves over time and she really does (IMO) turn out to be the best and most likeable of them. She's also the least likely to be hiding something. There are some things she can't tell you (state secrets etc) but beyond that she seems pretty bluntly honest. With her gone there is a chance that I end up with none of them. (Or maybe with Kate the bartender.)Who would have thought Finnabair would have become a loved character.
I like Kari. I find it a bit offputting that she's basically a god and was probably old when Medb was a toddler. Also her job (chooser of the slain) is a bit troubling. Not many people choose to ride with a Valkyrie ... or ride on a Valkyrie I guess. Of course, there could still be more new characters to come, but of the big four the only one still in the running for me is Fionna and it's just a hunch, but I suspect that we're not going to like whatever secret she's hiding. She could be some kind of mass murderer, or be in league with the hellspawn or like Steroid Kevin or something equally awful. We'll see I guess, but I don't think I'm going to move forward with a relationship with Fionna until I know what it is she's hiding.
