That's not to say that the characters in this game are objectively ugly because they aren't. And we all have our own tastes and preferences.

Eh to me i throw "team parents" in with "team templar" and there are PLENTY of people here who agree with all the lying his parents did. Team parents, team templar and team kaija are all the same to me.
Honestly up until the last update I was Team Templar now im unsure where my loyalty lies because Finn is dead. id probably go Elf's slightly more for now but not by alot. only thing im sure of is im loyal to Kaija but doesn't mean i'll side with Templars automatically.
In a recent Q&A, Ceolag said MC will remain "neutral" and not join any faction, so I wouldn't expect lots of Templar ass kicking.

I don't know how Ceolag will develop it but I think that if it's sure we have a rogue faction inside the templars it will imply in MC fighting templars in some moment. Surely, it's not a total war, but at least a faction among the templars will be enemies eventually. We cannot assume that they will not take control. In that case MC may have to storm their castle with allies of the sort that could include elves or his own family.

I'm looking forward to the next chapter to see how it's handled because Ceo said that the MC remains neutral, but I don't think that most of the players are feeling neutral at the moment (some are, I don't mean everyone) but there are definitely people here who hate the Elves and there are many who absolutely despise the Templars and even a few who seem to hate both, which I guess is a kind of neutrality. If MC's actions don't match what the players are feeling, it's going to get awkward.Unfortunately for those on team "rip n tear" in this game we have "The Sword of Peace". Not to say there won't be fighting and conflict, but I doubt we'll be blowing up any castles full of nobles like the guy who has Excalibur.
Might be a good thing too, poor MC is confused enough without a grey dude talking in his head.
