Chapter 6 is now "officially" bigger than Chapter 5 in every regard. This week, it has passed the CH5 count for static renders and script lines (animations quite a while ago).
Not sure what that says about the quality of my planning, as I thought it would be a bit smaller (No, thanks, no need to tell me - I DO know, I just choose to ignore it ).
I didn't manage to finish the work on my current scene, but I haven't been lazy.
It was just a bit too ambitious for this week. That said, the scene is written and coded and "only" missing some more renders and animations. I should be able to finish that by mid next week, so hopefully the next Dev Log will contain me telling you guys that I moved on to the Chapter finale.
The numbers for this week:
119 new static renders for a total of 2534
6 new animations for a total of 103
393 new lines in the script file for a total of 7168

Interesting update. By the numbers, Ceolag is now averaging approximately 68 static renders, 2.8 animations, and 194 lines per week since work on Chapter 6 officially began. Here are the charts:
This is certainly a massive update, though that seems almost inevitable given the ground it needed to cover. As far as what comes next, my guess is we have 15+ additional animations to render (roughly 1-1.5 weeks worth), plus whatever is involved in finishing up Elea's date and the big finale. Add about 3 weeks to polish, test and debug the chapter and we're probably looking at a late May release; as always, however, this just a guess.
