I really like the elves. They're the only ones (apart from Kate, Kari and Jessica) that I like at all in this.

I like Elfs for the fact they are Elfs not the faction but as a faction they are just as good and bad to me as the Templars. I haven't seen anything that says the Templars are worst yet. Not counting the stuff with the father lying to the his son as that is a personal matter

It may be personal but it’s extremely personal- there was, after all, a whole committee involved in that decision, then your gf lied to you for them every day they knew each other, and they set up your ‘career’ for you - probably including the promotion and then you found a gf outside their control and they killed her. The elves, after you demonstrate that you’re not like the Templars are nothing but helpful and kind.

Well yeah if you look at it from what the MC experienced the Elfs are 100% better im more looking as a faction overall and from that point of view I just don't see either faction being worst or better than the other.

Be that as it may, it won't change my stance. The only good Templar is dead Templar and the only good Elf is a Finn Elf.

And even if the story does not allow us to go against the Templars or the Elves, there is still hope that Kaiju can meet the same end as Finn. And that would be a glorious sight to see. I want the MC to attend her his funeral to so I can go:

I think it's unavoidable that some templars will be killed as soon as their internal conspiracy comes to light. Those templars who conspired against MC's father and allied themselves to those demons will have to be dealt and I believe it will happen having some elves as allies as well as Kaija and other templars with MC fighting with them. In my opinion, MC won't buy the story that templars killed Finn and evidences will surface that will expose the other group. I also believe that a few high ranking templars will be dead by the end of this game and MC's father and Linnae may be included with some sort of speech and revelations while they die. All in all, there other plots for MC questing, as the origin of the other sword, with the norse pantheon and the holy grail mention whose location is know by his father alone. But I would love an optional revenge path against the templars so that some players could run it. It doesn't need to be an entire path, but as it was done in Deus Ex where MC chooses one final option that brings to an epilogue of the sorts
