I'm in it for the pussy. Both sides. Except Kaija :KEK:
Nah, not interested in the pussy in this one. The 3 best girls were Finn - who the Templars killed, Kate - who is barely in it, and the Succubus who the Valkyrie killed. So, not being into necrophilia, it's just a game about killing Templars now.

Templars are idiots all around, with MCs father so far knowing jack shit about anything. He's either incompetent, or everyone's doing whatever the hell they want.
Objectively speaking I think they have a purpose, I doubt any other human faction would do anything against the hellspawn until they become a business problem and then it might be too late. But as seen in the past chapters they have become a group of politicians too busy surviving and hiding their presence that they have failed in their duty.

Get it over with, we know you love her just admit it

Templars definitely do have a purpose and need to exist.
It's just that their current leadership is terrible. World's on fire around them, and their solution so far has been to add bit more fuel, in hopes that helps.

Nah. If there is a competent Templar I haven't met them yet. If they need to exist, it will have to be with a whole new crew - replace everyone (probably down to the gardener and the teachers).

I literally don't even understand their purpose for existing at all. Like what the fuck do they actually do? Neverwhere doesn't need or want them really. Earth would be doing fine without them. The Hellspawn just recently turned up, and even then on Earth it was just a lone succubus, and even that was hunted down by someone other than the templars. And should hellspawn actually show up on Earth in numbers, we sure as fuck wouldn't be going up against them with fucking swords but tanks lmao. Good luck to them. So once again, what the fuck templars are good for? Should they close up shop tomorrow literally nothing would change for humanity in the grand scheme of things.

We'd have to do something about their reproduction rate but I think the Alfir retaking Neverwhere, and even returning to the human realm would probably be a good thing. I mean Neverwhere is a shithole that would be improved by vaporizing it, so it's not like the elves are going to make it worse and they could work with human scientists - they help humanity with longevity and humans help them with reproduction. If anything the Templars are bad for humanity.

Their purpose should be to find, control and monitor every entrance/exit between Earth and Neverwhere. Coordinate with other agencies in other countries that know about Neverwhere's existance. Keep anything from going into Neverwhere and kill anything that comes out of Neverwhere. It is beyond fucking insane that people like Nightinfail can freely walk in and out with no repercussions. That monsters like the succubus can just come across and terrorize civilians. Or pointy-eared assholes can just come over and scheme against Humans.

They are fucking useless and should be abolished and replaced by someone who can actually protect Earth and Humanity.

I think sis's friend works for the "3rd" side, she knows about neverwhere, left sis alone in a bar, 3 idiots try to kidnap a drunk sis, say "She should have been alone."
That's how they threw us a bone for research)

We dig deeper, if her friend is there, the very Jai that Nightingale is looking for, and she arranged all this because of the death of her parents, so that the Templars and the elves would kill each other. She may even be able to telepathically inspire thoughts or control a person. Otherwise, why would Jess have such a lapse in memory, skipping days and she easily agreed to go to the neverwhere club? Where she was suddenly left alone without even being embarrassed, like how obvious it could still be.

And Sayo will also say
, in the next update, that suddenly her memory didn't remember anything, and she was being manipulated like a puppet.

And this girl, that's Jai, a friend, or Jessica's security detail. Either that's what they want me to think.
Yes, one more variable is missing, the demon is under a stealth spell, which means that whoever it is can actually do magic.

I think they got burned by the French and now they distrust governments and considering that several governments make chatterboxes disappear I don't think they are interested in "regulating" the Neverwhere

In some dialogue, it was said that there are very few Templars and they are mostly relatives. And there are many entrances and exits, not like the elves.

Linnae explains it in Chapter 2 (if you talk to her that is) then the parents in Ch 5 (if you stay calm and hear them out that is)

So with ending of chapter 6, do we know for sure if

It's not spelled out, but it definitely appears that when you sat down with them, after rescuing the father, and they tried to explain and get you to trust them again, that there were still hiding some really important stuff.
