My problem with this whole drama is that her dad saw his own daughter loose against the MC in the woods. Then the very same stupid daughter tells her mother (MedB) that she lost against MC in the woods and now wants a duel to death. Nobody prevent this duel from happening, even knowing that the stupid daughter already lost against the MC the very same day with the very same sword, but if MC kills her exactly as she wanted herself (she literally says that one of them has to die, no other option, while having a sword pointed at throat), then MedB gets super mad at MC. Really mommy??? This is the consequence of YOUR actions, don't blame the MC for what YOU let happened bitch!
The thing is, as I understand it, when you came in she automatically didn't like the MC. She didn't like any human, and especially a templar being there at all. She could have killed MC right there (Nightingale and Finn's dad both warn him about that and urge him to go back where he came from). However, the challenge is a part of their tradition, so she has to allow it once it's made. When you beat her, if you spare her, she has effectively lost the challenge - because she was "dead" but you spared her. When Finn wants to continue Medb doesn't allow it because she's already had her challenge, and because the MC spared her so now she owes him a life debt (same as Medb did when MC got his dad back). So, again according to their tradition, she can't harm someone who she owes a life debt too. Also, by sparing Finn (Medb's daughter) you've changed her mind about killing you or throwing you out. So she says you've earned a chance to prove yourself (or something similar). The life debt, by the way, is why Finn has no choice about training MC. (Unless you let her choose.)

She's my favorite LI after Elea, and I'm afraid that I won't like her anymore after hearing the truth about her past because to me it's of sexual nature, meaning that in the past she was forced to use her powers to seduce and trap men for her parents’ benefits.
While her becoming "The Great and Glorious Whore of Ireland" would indeed be quite the letdown, I suspect with the whole "burning villages and slaughtering countless people" thing she talked about, her past is a bit more on the bloody side of things.

Don't forget what website you're on. The former is more unforgivable to people around here then the latter.

Still, slaughtering innocents seems closer to what is at play. That and lots of sick cruel psychological games that cause suffering just for the fun of it seems to be implied.

For what it's worth, Kaija did mention something about him getting some training in with her before facing off against Nightingale, and we never saw that, so I'll just assume he's doing some training off-screen.
I think so too considering it's the only version where you deflect the "special attack"

If dev needed that scene he could have had it anyway on the planned trip and spare Jess from looking dumb for no reason.
She had named herself the Pink Terror, it seems very much in character to me XD

I wonder if she's actually a Fomorian which would fit with her references to chaos and destruction. We've seen her give a few references to the sea and, from my interpretation, she seems to have some sort of pull to the sea

But aren't they supposed to be monstrous beings? Not a description I would associate with Fiona.

She could be magically disguised or altered? They're also described as half man, half goat in some legends. So, she could be a sort of satyr like using magic to shift her appearance. There's also half-fomorians as well .

I liked the update but the mc and mc's dad keep annoying me and jess now started to do the same ... the whole family seems to kinda suck.

MC is so enraged he ... goes to his fake work and on camping trips and does fuck all otherwise.

The whole jess thing is so confusing, i kinda hope someone fucked with her mind.

Because otherwise ... WHAT?!

She goes partying to neverwhere during a war. Ok. Am i supposed to perceive her as mentally challanged?

And ... a friend of her roommate knows the tunnels? The secret passages to neverwhere? A random friend? I mean either she doesnt have to wonder anymore whos the templar observing her (and he/she would do a SHIT job doing that in this case lol) or ... dunno ... random friends of friends know neverwhere and it comes up in random conversations?

This whole part was so strange, i hope there will be a explanation and things arent this simple.

.. Being half goat is actually something that could change their relationship XD

Fiona best girl and I was glad to get some more Fiona content this update. Getting some Succubus vibes from her but maybe following folklore a possible Dearg-due? (basically a Vampiric succubus that seduces their victim then drains them of their blood instead of the lifeforce through love juice) Would be interesting. The way she talks about her family, and how she has a bit of noble air about her, and strong familial ties/control factors, etc kind of gives off that kind of vampire-vibe.

My only gripe with the writing is the whole families sense of self-preservation it like defies all logic and reasoning :KEK:
Every convo with Jess, How Jess acts, the way MC acts, like good lord man. At least care about the danger a little bit! Even though the Human settlements are relatively safe you still have Hellspawn, Potentially Warbanded Elves, Highwaymen, Drunkards/Crazy people, Potentially traitorous Templars, and new development Kidnappers(or bounty hunters? idk)

They have the survival and decision making skills of taking a trip to the grocery store for some juice, all I'm saying :KEK:

You're all forgetting that we already know Jessica to be inpatienbt and impulsive. While it was sad to see and actually pissed me off, it's not entirely out of the known for the character.
True. But I really didn't like her trying to flip the blame and I especially disapproved of MC's lap dog response. In fact, I hated it so much that I made my own little mod for the conversation in the bar and had MC chew her ass about her behavior. Heh, I'm doing much better now...
