Well to be fair 'this time', this is not Kaija hate, this is explaining to someone 'why' there is hate who seemingly can't comprehend why when Finn gets none.

Yes I dislike her, never made any bones about that but unlike some, I don't constantly go on and on and on and on about it. Said my piece long time ago, done with it. I'll also admit, her love path is actually very good and does show you both sides of her character and would tell anyone to play both paths.

But even now, Kaija gets so much hate and vitriol that you’d think she was the villain, not a love interest.

But she is a villain. Effectively, no one in this game has caused more damage to the MC than Kaija and his parents. That's a FACT!

Not the Tempars, not the Elves, not the Mercs, not Nightingale in their brawl, not Finnabair in theirs, not the Succubus, not the Hellspawn in general, not the dudes from the bar with Elea and certainly not the hired thugs at the end of this update. I mean so far, if you go and rank the actual threats to the MC, the fucking Hellspawn are by far the lowest one which is just funny

I'll keep waiting for futher development of the plot but like I've said before, up until now the villains of this story are Kaija and the parents. Yes this is a game, not reality, but I can't imagine the type of person you have to be to not fully grasp the severity of the lies the MC was fed all his life. Dude's like a lesser version of Truman Burbank. His whole goddamn life is a lie.

Surprised people aren't losing their shit over Kaija kinda-sorta-notreally hinting at screwing around herself when the MC is on the "take a step back" route and then admits to her that he had sex with Finn. She seemingly stops herself before admitting to doing the same thing lol.

He hasn't, just no real reason to be in here plus he's had a time of it this year with personal matters (hence the delay in this release). He was very pissed with the leak last time, thankfully that did not happen for this update nearly as quick.

Pretty much the reason why I stopped posting in the game thread.
It's basically just 3 specific people who really piss me off. Or more like 2, since one of them hasn't posted anything in a while.
But they can do whatever they want, keep posting the same provoking shit over and over AND OVER again and kill any discussion by that. But if a few people post a bit of tea vs coffee jokes for 2 pages, it hails thread bans...

So I did the only thing I could do: I started ignoring the thread.




And that's just sad.
I really enjoyed talking to you guys before. Even with the waifu wars, there was still quite a bit of great feedback in there.
But now? There are still a few guys with valuable feedback. Even if they criticize (or maybe especially then...) it's fair and helpful. It's the only reason why I try to read the thread from time to time. But it's exhausting skimming through the same nonsense for pages just to find the few posts that are actually helpful.

Yep and pretty much explained why stopped posting and interacting with this thread. For me with those 2 or 3 troublemakers ignored this thread is mostly healthy anyway.

I was never very active when it came to posting, I was mostly a lurker. My account is 9 years old, but until a month ago, I had fewer than 100 comments. I only started posting more actively last month, but maybe it would’ve been better for my sanity if I had just stayed a lurker - there are too many haters and trolls in almost every thread.

I might be seeing it as doom and gloom. it's just the timing of her wanting to say something but then stops herself during the 'I had sex with Finn and just wanted to be truthful about it' conversation doesn't make it seem like she was going to admit to secretly having a kink dungeon or something. But who knows. Doesn't matter to me either way since I don't normally follow her path.

Sure if he filters the constructive criticism he can use some of it, but creators should have already most the story and plot events planned but they can always take good advices and adapt and make it better, but it is hard in the times it is only nonsense and hate. Anyway usually developers have a discord channel where they have more control of who deserves to be there even if to criticize....constructively of course.

I was the same for like an year, didn't even had an account. Only observed and learned from the good posters and even like 6 months using the account I rarely posted, kind of shy IRL and shows a bit here hehe. But with time got more confident and also learned to not get aggravated easily with some posts (had to get some of my posts deleted by mods to learn haha), or by simply ignoring the post or in extreme cases ignoring the user.
