I'm on Kaija's path and didn't have to chance to go meet the templars after walking alone at all, weird tho.
IMO that should be a must watch scenes to not miss a shit ton of lore.

As previously (and recently) discussed, 90% of the lore is hidden on multiple paths. I have to reload my save and choose different choices to see that stuff. Also need to replay from the beginning, it's been months since my save, and I don't remember so much...
When you meet mother, you're given 3 choices (like screenshot from Maviarab says).
1. Go alone -> This ends with MC going to apartment, you don't get any information and don't meet Kaija
2. Sure -> You give mom info, then meet Kaija and get chance to meet Templars
3. Wait for Kaija -> Same as 2, just skips talking to mom, you get chance to talk to Templars
So overall, yep, go alone means you skip Templars completely.
You can still get Kaija date if your points with her are high, just get invited over phone instead of in person.

Yep, and if you won't talk to mom, you also will lose opportunity to offer Nightingale help in her current mission.

A note won't hurt, but I'm not sure, this way you'll have to describe the possible consequences of choosing each option. And what if they're postponed for a chapter or two? Besides, it's not entirely clear yet where this opportunity to help Nightingale will lead you, we'll only find out it in the future chapters.
