I might be the odd one out but I never really thought Jess was attractive I just liked her character until this chapter. Before I thought she was just a little better than Elea ( maybe it's the hair idk)

You're not wrong about Jess. I know it's an anime/VN trope, but I was kinda hoping Jessica was adopted just on the off chance we could date her instead. Which also brings me to my feelings on the MC's family and the Templars. I don't like or trust any of them... I guess I am somewhat invested in getting dad back, but in a weird way, I prefer to side with the elves or want nothing to do with anyone... other than maybe Jess.
Also, I get being involved with more than one main LI at the same time is a no-no, but what about side girls like Helena and Kari?

Ok, so finally arrived in Neverwhere.... are we supposed to get any training at some point? I rejected Kaija so no training with her, and I asked Linnae and she said maybe... I also did not get a chance to save the guy from the beatdown and get a +1 point with Medb later.... because I didn't have enough points with Kaija?

There's two primary paths to getting training at the moment. One is Kaija, and the other it sounds like you haven't reached yet (but can be missed if you make certain choices).

training with Kaija, enables an achievement further down the road with Nightingale,
about the training with Linae, You will get one later when you return from Neverwhere, If you reject the training with Oberon again you miss an achievement with Nightingale,
I'm vague I know but else I would have spoiled much more.
Kaija is my main LI and i have no issues with that. i was disappointed that Finnabair's fate can't be changed. i did all the choices that made her realize her attitude needed to change. but then seeing how she is stabbed in the back, she turns her back on her enemy. something she would not have done without the influence of the mc. so yeah, he feels responsible for her death for good reason.
so Jess is a mage eh..that will make her presence in future updates more interesting. loving this story and can't wait for the next update.
