while I don't have a save as you I seriously had trouble doing some of those options like burning bridges with the parents or tell Linnae or Kari to fuck off. I felt bad doing those options just to see themMy one and only save is 0 -> 0 on all paths except for Mebd which is 0 -> -2 and I'm having a blast! 10/10 would absolutely reccomend!
Also being nasty to the parents and all Templars is incredibly cathartic after what they did to the MC. And I love that the dev included other people scolding the MC for "being rude". Like purposefully not thanking Kari or my absolute favorite, telling Linnae to fuck off when she tries to sit down and talk to the MC at the bar. Then the barman tries to make the MC feel bad. Like fuck off you piece of shit! You're Templar trash too!

I usually do too. I can't do rude or renegade runs on anything. I always play the nice guy. But in here I feel like these people deserve so much worse... Like I'm not a big fan of the MC at all but the dude was done dirty. His whole entire life has been a lie basically. And these people are all to blame, one way or another. So I feel like it's justified.

One thing everyone fails to notice is how pervasive the Templars' surveillance is in MC's life and how difficult it is to break free from them so he can follow his own path. When MC decides to go to the elves after breaking up with Kaija and burning bridges, Jess later informs him that Kaija and his mother found out and camped hidden in the woods just before the passage to the elven world, watching him until he returned safely. How did they know? The only answer is that even though they tell everyone to fuck off, they still keep an eye on MC and his life.
Tbf it was only the mom and kaija there, and no matter how much of dumb fuckups they are of course they just dont "fuck off" while their son/friend (whatever that means for them) is in life-treatening danger no matter how he feels about it
That's not the issue. How did they know exactly where MC went to? They were spying or other templars were doing that.

Medb sends back his cellphone to the humans with a video of him. We don't see him filming it or anything, it's just mentioned around the Finnabair duel.

No seriously he's acting like a teenager that just got grounded, not like a person who just found out that their dad was kidnapped and like a person who was just attacked and their life is in danger.

The MC just discovered his father has been kidnapped but that he has been lying to him his whole life. The MC's world has been turned upside down. Everyone around him, except his sister has been lying to him his whole life including the woman he loves. Suddenly people are shooting at him. The guy would be experiencing a rapidly changing cycle of emotions. Sometimes his actions are going to be a bit emotional and irrational. Personally I don't blame him from wanting to get away from them.
Once the initial shock passes, the MCs whole focus is going after his father and pushes the Templars to rescue his father even though they are twiddling their thumbs. The MC is thrust in to this hidden world he knows nothing about in a hope he can somehow rescue his father when no one else appears to be doing squat. I'm a little confused as to how he isn't showing concern for his father. To save his father, he has to interact with people who have lied to him his whole life including his lying deceiving girlfriend. I'm not an android, if I was the MC my emotions would be all over the place including wanting to get the hell away from these assholes for a while.
That' just my thoughts. Perhaps you would act differently as I'm sure many people would act in different ways.
