Personally i see no problem with her tattoos, and honestly kinda fits her. And having them as an option kinda doesn't go right with the story/stories. But that's my opinion.

Making it an option would also add a significant amount of work for the dev to appease a small minority of people, as they would then have to make multiple versions of any renders and animations with her in them. It's not worth it.

That as well, different branches, renders... etc. Wasted time, as you said, to please a niche target, time that could be spend improving the story, renders as author vision them.

36 here and I like tattoos on girls. Heck, all the people i know over 30 and there are quite a few, love tattoed girls as well. Is a form of art and if you have a tattoo, it must have a meaning, a story behind it. True, there are a lot that get one just to be "cool" but... each with their own...
yeah well I don't know a single person that likes them so there - it's a choice - I get that but a rotten one, and a non reversing one for the most part

With this here, you bleed in your own belief on tattoos. I get it, is not for everyone, but as an author (let's put ourselves in the mind of one), i will always go with the story and characters i want and i feel they represent what i want to transmit the best. Making 2 separate renders to appeal to a certain group of players... wasted time, time that can be used in other parts of the game, story or better renders etc.
Either way, we have gone on quite the debate here...

And how in the hell do you know "anyone over 25 most likely hates" tattoos? I'm in my 30s and I like tattoos, as long as they are well done. Also again, the issue isn't removing them; it's that if you make it an option, you now have to make twice as many renders and animations whenever she is in a scene, one with tattoos and one without. It increases the workload and length of time between updates.
Not every LI has to appeal perfectly to you; get used to it.
