The first wave of LI all feature a heroine who are lonely to the point of being broken. Rogue isolates herself out of fear of her power. Jean isolates herself with an obsessive need for scholarly achievement. Laura has no social awareness and is feared and ostracized.

With the second wave, does the confirmation of Storm as a possible LI suggest an alternative thematic grouping?

The thematic line was actually accidental until we realised what we'd done, then we started leaning into it more. Since then, we've had discussions about the potential ch.2 girls and we'll be going in with the intent of establishing a theme more concretely, maybe not from the off, but it'll definitely (hopefully) be more obvious. Feel free to debate what that may be!

Not knowing the new arrivals, but postulating from Storm being claustrophobic, that would make Betsy Braddock (body dysmorphia) and Lorna Dane (bipolar) a logical guess.

For me the question is if I'm not doing fast-forward will i make different choices than the fast-forward life remembering the fast-forward me is still me and making choices based on my behavior and personality. That what scaring me

After replaying the beginning bits again recently i had a thought:

If we take the faded bloodshot borders to represent awakening of an ability or active use of an ability, then it is possible that the first instance(During class after browsing the news report) was his awakening as a mutant. The second instance, in the restroom/restroom stall, could then have been the nullification manifesting, kicking in due to the primal fear and stress. That could lend credence to any theory positing that the nullification wasn't actually his base power. This is presuming that narratively the effect that is represented by the border was not actually present the whole time. Even then the stress, fear, and terror could still have prompted a power, the nullification to manifest/develop.

Apologies if my thought trailed off at the end, i am running on fumes at the moment.

Another thought i had was:

What if Nulls powers only seem to work on mutants/work the way they do because Null believes that is how they work, a belief bolstered in part by Xavier?Either just Xavier's words or perhaps some tinkering done by Xavier before his nullification fully engaged, so to speak. We know that Jean could get a dulled sense of Nulls emotions during their prior encounters as mentioned during one of the initial training sessions, and Xavier can still contact him and presumably read his mind in spite of the nullification, though that could simply be due to the relative power levels/power disparity.

I also believe that there is precedent of Xavier using his abilities to shackle/limit the powers of certain mutants because of their dangerous potential, though my knowledge on this specifically is very much lacking.

I know that it is in vogue to treat Xavier as a villain or opponent, but he is usually good (from my recollection of the cartoon). It could be that Xavier saw a mutant who was about to manifest a reality-manipulation ability which would be dangerous to themselves and others in the best of cases and tried to change it into an ability that is 1) still a super useful thing to have, and 2) way less likely to pose a danger to themselves and others.

Also something I'm a little confused about: the next story arc will contain 3 new girls (of which Storm is one and the other two are unknown at this point), but does that mean that Rogue, Laura, and Jean won't be getting story beats?

I agree that corruption doesn't sit well with what has been done so far and I am curious about he kink path tree. Still dominating Rogue seems off so far to me. It is missing some kind of joy from submitting and it makes me feel like I am just a toxic partner taking advantage of her lack of confidence. I'm a Dom irl and most subs I've been with had a strong personality and lots of responsibilities and used submission as a getaway from that.

By the way, I had a thought that (when and if we get there), GwenPool could make a nice newgame+ exclusive character. She wouldn't fit in the universe that is created so far, but newgame+ rarely make sense from a storytelling viewpoint so I think she would fit really well there.

While I have no idea what direction the devs wanna take the story, I doubt they are gonna turn Xavier into a villain or antagonist.

The girls will continue to be relevant across the whole game, they are your girls now, you don't forget about your girls.

Is it a good time to tell you that Gwenpool is Shiny's trigger word (and not in a positive sense if there is one).

Even if not evil, he still has been shown to do things for what he considers the right reasons, sealing/limiting the bulk of Jeans powers for example, which i think is actually referenced in game by Jean, but i might be misremembering something again.

After your response though I looked a bit into Amahl Farouk, ie his professor, and if the quirkiness of Nulls powers is because of outside interference, then Farouk/The Shadow King might have a hand in it, rather than Xavier. This is of course presuming that the entire game thus far is not just a result of Null actually being trapped in an Illusion.

I mean yeah this can be the sort of "greater good" dick move Xavier would pull. He did it to Jean.

Who's to say that he wouldn't do it to others?

It's the Phoenix Saga. Both Rogue and Jean are gonna be there and I sat in a voice call with Buttholder for like 2 hours discussing X-23's potential application.

The characters don't disappear from the comics, and if they do, we have ideas on the discussion table when we get to that point in the timeline.

We're reworking the approach we're taking with quirks. They're gonna be more modular.

So people who want Null to be kinda toxic with his kinks? Nothing is changing.

People who want the girls to engage in kink without feeling like you're taking advantage of them? You'll get your treat when the modular rework comes out.

Fuck it. This is the one instance I'd be cool with it. It makes sense. Have her replace Kurt as the tutorial character and she'll be like "Eh, you already heard this." and if you click the option for a repeat on the tutorial she'll say something like, "You went straight to the porn I see..."

Or they're your friends if you didn't pursue their romance side quest.

Downloaded Android port, it give errors on old save(older 0.3a/b)
Gives same error code in new game too.

As far as I can tell must be something related to live 2d, I don't know what they changed in this new update. Is it same on PC or Android port only issue?
It gives same live 2d error on my old save aswell.

Eh dom in irl is really boring. More responsibilities, rules and regulation than international laws lmao. So I stay normal in irl dom in games
