Small Update Posted On Discord

RonChon:hey fam, just a quick update that I'm close to handing off my thesis draft to my committee and will have a brief breather, so I'll be dropping off some art previews here and on Patreon to show off what the artists have been working on! expect to hear from me by next weekend
Good news, hope he succeeds. I'm starting to get pretty excited for the update
At this point, he's likely to. Honestly, the hardest part is finding a unique topic, unless he's in a "hand-holding" program that actually gave him like 3 or something at the start and just basically expect a book report. :ROFLMAO:

adamantium skeleton.png

Is this Literal? is her skeleton completely coated in adamantium in earth 69?
It kinda makes sense seeing how she didnt leave the facilty until she was fully grown.

This has been brought up before, I think. I'm almost positive this game's version of her is metal claws only. I can't remember if this line was an oversight or a bad metaphor or just a bug that didn't make it into the last patch.

Perhaps she has some Adamantium lacing her fingers and knuckles to prevent the claws from slicing her hand bones up when she strikes with them?
According to the Wiki, she doesn't have the full skeleton, but it was planned.

Thats my point though.
In the comics it makes sense why she doesnt have it originally since she escaped before she was fully grown, no sense coating the entire skeleton of a growing teenager, but in TNH, Laura didnt leave the facility until recently, and shes 18, so they could, in theory, have finished the process and finish weapon X.

That would be interesting!

I do assume it's just a metaphor, but I am not opposed to this.

Bone development actually continues for a few years after that. I think it doesn't fully settle until... I cant remember if it's 23 or 26.

But that's just me splitting hairs at this point.

Bones will stop growing lengthwise between 16 to 18, but you'd want to wait a year or so to be sure.
It's bone density that continues until the mid to late twenties.
So the organisation that made Laura would probably be at least 19 before they added any adamantium to the rest of her skeleton. If they were ever going to do so.

There are some drawbacks to a full skeleton coated with adamantium.
- Its heavy. Logan weighs 300lbs, about 136kg. 100lbs (45kg) of that is the adamantium in him. That throws off a lot of ways Laura could be sent on missions, or extracted, if she were still an assassin. They got what they wanted coated.
- It makes Laura more dangerous, but would also prevent her from being tortured by the people who made her and trained her. One of her instructors, Kimura, chopped off an arm with a chainsaw. Because she could. Couldn't do that if Laura had a fulled coated skeleton.
- It's expensive. Prohibitively so. The existence of her "sisters" in 616 showed that Laura was meant to be the blueprint for assassins. Its easier and cheaper to coat the claws than the entire skeleton. Imagine the dozens of times over. Or just take that 100lbs of adamantium and see how far you can go just coating 6 claws.

You forgot one other downside- it's toxic, even with her healing factor. Laura heals faster than Logan due to her healing factor not having to fight off as much heavy metal poisioning

Knowing the organisation that created her, I imagine they would have seen it as an upside in someway.

I've always taken that metaphorically. As in firm or unyielding fingers. As in she's forcing you to lick her pussy. Pretty much since adamantium came from the regular word adamant and they just stuck -ium at the end. Kind of like unobtainium.

Its a moot point now, comic-wise, as she does have a full *metal skeleton now.

edit: doh!

Wholly unrelated, but I just wanted to let you know that I've been laughing at your autism Laura image for like ten minutes now.

God, every time I log into this website I'm eager to see if there's been updates. I'm not complaining! I'm just full of love and excitement for this game!

It's metaphorical.

For all of the reasons stated by others, it's just her claws.

Adamantium is strong. Her grip is strong.
Thanks for the clarification.

Now we need to have a discussion on the economics of Adamantium, maybe in scale economy it makes sense.
We gotta find out how expensive a production line of Lauras is and how expensive they are on the market, maybe we can sell the premium, gucci version that has the full skeleton and bluetooth, you know?

Oh trust me buddy, i know, i had to do that picture precisely because i lost my sides when the picture came to my mind and i just NEEDED for it to be real to share the hilarity.
