Hey man, take all the time in the world. My cat 17 died recently from kidney failure too. Still processing it. We fought 3 months, tried almost everything but alas. Kidney failure hits like a damn freight train - It's sudden and almost irreversible and happens way too fast. It is really damn hard to let go, and especially be forced to let go. I lost mine at 15... He was the light of my life. One day I notice a tumor and then there was nothing I could do. Even as a man it was impossible not to cry.
