This game is really boring because there are just 3 girls in the game and the only 1 that I am interested in is Jean Grey. I wish we didnt have to wait until Chapter 2 to date Storm or whomever else is being planned for Chapter 2. I dont know whose idea it was to wait until Chapter 2 to date Storm but it was obviously not a good choice.

First, complaining that something is boring because there are just 3 characters at this point is moronic, do you think gamedev is just some easy prompt where you input data and the game comes out freshly baked?
Second, while i agree that if there were to be 3 main X-men girls it should be Jean, Storm and Rogue, the art for X-23 was already there and seeing how right now shes best girl, im pretty sure many here would agree that keeping her from game start was an absolute correct choice.

The amusing thing is that they think if we added Storm on top of our current workload that they think she'd come out remotely anytime soon.

As we'd have to rewrite all of Chapter 1 to account for her presence.

The EXACT reason we delayed Storm to Chapter 2 was because we didn't want to take on too much of a workload and get burnt out. Imagine asking us to dev crunch for free. At least the industry devs are getting paid.

So bois and girls, I cannot get Jean date to trigger, there is still a prompt for saturday barbecue but that isn't stopping me for getting dates with other girls, i wait till evening in and out my room but it still doesn't trigger, how do i get around this?

Also Jean doesn't want to go the barbecue due to her former friends.....so what do i even do...
edit: opened up the console and got this error.... during when the date should happen

yep done all of that, eventually i had to use console Jump Jean_Date, to force trigger it
now i have the option for date even in normal talking it completely fixed it

Anyway. The last roadmap was posted in October. Since the Chapter 1 builds are almost done, I imagine they'll have a new map relatively soon.

Yknow, Even if I like them tweaking how often you have to ask for permission, I've never considered the title "consent simulator" to be a bad thing. TNH has some of the best communication and healthiest relationship dynamics I've seen out of a game, and goddamn is that refreshing!

I coined the phrase. You, Boots and others misinterpreted it and ran with a different narrative.

So, again: Consent Simulator™ ends when the team adds a talk option for regular/platonic conversations, and is less stringent about which current 'flirt' options actually count as trying to add another girl to the relationship.

It's fine when you go though the proper procedures, but the devs are still a ways away from changing Consent Simulator™ to Conversation & Communication Simulator™*.

*Working title.
