Saying this because im curious because idk there was an actual timeline for games events. But if there is I'd like to make some recommendations if that's ok.

2005- Samsung Smart hub tv with facebook and app widgets, Null's phone. I think it's just like most rec rooms/arcades with older games put in. But Laura Horror outfit would be sick for halloween, lot of options that are good picks.

If official time for game is 2005 I have a recommendation for the art on rec room. CRT tvs are still the go to, as LCD tv's are still new and uncommon, with most being small monitor sized, sound systems for tv's, dvd player, CD player/radio, coffeetable books and magazines were also common. Could also wave away some tech as mutant genius made and have Forge be this universes Mark Zuckerberg and replace the smart hub with the HumHum app and relevant app replacements on tv if going that route.

If we are talking about the very first version of her then yes, but that's like comparing Golden Age Superman & Batman to every iteration that came after, characters are never finalized right as they come out and it takes time before a version that remains constant sticks. Case in point, early versions of Batman had him using machine guns, something that everyone agrees no modern version of Batman would do.



Kitty debuted in 1980 but even in the 90's and late 80's just about every artist was drawing Kitty with straight hair and her jewish-ness was HEAVILY downplayed, she became a slim bubbly 80's girl fairly quickly and though the fashion sense has changed the rest hasn't; she had 80's hair for a while but that wasn't a jewfro. Some writers tried bringing back her being openly jewish but it's always been either a footnote or never stuck; many writers even forgot she was jewish and portrayed her as a New England WASP.

These days Kitty is as jewish as Magneto.

I mean, the bush artwork on all of the 'hairier' settings is pretty realistic and abundant for all of the current LIs, including textural variances. Given that they're leaning into a big head of curly hair authenticity for Kitty, it stands to reason that 'all that goes with it' will be included if you choose the appropriate pubic grooming options in your game.

I agree, given the game's level of accommodation in terms of cosmetic options, I'd be pretty shocked if she were locked into just one hairstyle. All the same, there's certainly nothing wrong with her 'default' hairstyle when entering the game to be the same one she had when she was introduced in the comics. A Jewish girl choosing not to straighten her hair is a pretty far fucking cry from Batman with tripod mounted machine gun in terms of anachronism.

But given that Magneto's entire backstory is that he was a German-born Jew who was sent to Auschwitz and barely survived the Holocaust, the fact is that he's actually pretty damned Jewish. So it makes an odd point of comparison in your argument unless you're saying that the aforementioned rather critical part of his background has also been 'forgotten.'
