Somewhat related. Have you guys decided on the quirks for the new characters yet? Are any of them voyeurism or sex in public (hidden, not in front of crowds)?
For certain characters we're very sure about what we want their quirks to be, others not so much yet. Really depends because some chapter 2 girl quirks are still not set in stone meanwhile later chapter girls are. As for specific quirks, there will be plenty of variety so the vast majority of people will be satisfied

To drop kayfabe for a moment: I am significantly more interested in what you folks are doing compared to where RLE is at right now, so most of my reactions to what may not make it in the game are about as serious as the hundreds of other 'for shits and giggles' posts that I've been making on this site for a while. Or in other words: I am not a very serious person seven times out of ten, especially on message boards about porn. So, if you feel as though I've crossed a line, I apologize.
That said, if I really felt a type a way about an idea getting rejected, like Nightcrawler not being involved with Null's sexcapades, or Jean and Null not taking the sib dynamic to the next level by Jean getting "suck" inside a washing machine and Null (consequentially) taking advantage of a situation, then I'll just take a proactive route in the same vein as Chaos Jean Quelaag and post the fan art that this game inspires. ...besides, I can always use more practice.

Having to endear the new girl to all your other girlfriends seems like it would only get more tedious. When you have like 10 members it's going to feel like a sex cult.
I don't see how it's more realistic for the girls to be open to a polycule, an incredibly niche thing, but not casual sex/fuckbuddies which are relatively a lot more normal.
It makes sense for Jean to demand commitment, but Rogue's always a big slut whenever someone's able to touch her.
You've said before that there will be future love interests who are more casual about sex, you just didn't think the first 3 fit, but what about Laura? It seems like she wants to do that but then the player puts on the brakes. Why? Why not give us the option?

you need to text message them on the first time to unlock the dating button, NOT call them or talk to them.
Allow me to clarify. In RLE, Zero and Professor X are adversarial to one another because neither is a character, both are plot devices. Being scolded by and blackmailing Xavier are gameplay mechanics and pretty much the only interaction you ever have with him. In TNH, Null and Chuck have a bit more personality and the game is not JUST about doing things a school headmaster would be against a student doing.
The premise in RLE works a lot better though.
Makes for funnier interactions as well.Not all girls will start as rivals, and some will naturally develop friendships with others more rapidly. We're aware of how tedious it could be and that's not our goal.
As you just mentioned, some future girls may be more casual about sex. The chapter 1 girls, their personalities, and at what point they're at in their lives all informed us about how they would feel regarding sex and romance. We specifically wanted to avoid what we consider poor adaptations or versions of these characters, and instead make them feel realistic in how they approach romance.
Man, kudos to the "twist" that Null's powers didn't work on Juggernaut. I felt like such a moron for wondering if that was going to set up a whole story arc before realizing that I forgot that he's not a goddamn mutant!

We already have someone who's more casual about sex, Laura (sort of), but then Null is the one who insists on doing the same procedure as with every girl.
And I do like that sort of dynamic, but i feel it railroads you so hard here.
I think you succeeded, the girls feel like fleshed out characters.
But how is it more realistic for them to be more open to polyamory than casual sex?
At the start of the game Laura is basically the opposite of the type of person who would be into casual sex. She's socially outcast and very very uncomfortable with people getting close to her or physical contact in general. Then, once she starts doing research and talking to Rogue for advice she gets her ideas of "proper" romance and how relationships should work.
Yeah that's what I meant by "(sort of)". She has her intimacy issues and unorthodox upbringing of course, but after confessing to each other she's basically like "oh boy, smooching time", but Null is like "no way fag".
My recollection might not be perfect, and more than a little damaged by years of heavy internet use.
