Will we ever meet Null's family
Unlikely. Maybe if you choose the not an orphan option you may get an email or text but unless the writers wanna surprise the rest of the team, I doubt it.

will we get the chance to interact with members of the Brotherhood?
Yes. The X-Men in the comics fought them semi-often so expect the same.

Do you guys have any plans on Emma Frost?
She's on the list of possible girls and all costumes may potentially be included depending on our art budget.

Will we ever see Cyclops running around? Some awkward interactions between him and Jean could be fun as a side mission. I'm going back through the Lee/Kirby and Claremont era X-Men right now and I forgot how badass early Scott is.

doubtful due to artists not wanting to waste time on making art for him. besides, he sounds like a jerk in this game

I hate retcons. It's one of the problems modern comics have, always changing things. Like the old saying goes, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it.".
Retcons by their nature are meant to fix a problem with a story or a character. For example, without retcons we wouldn't have Steve Rogers as Captain America in the main Marvel universe, as in Timely Comics in the 40s, he left the military after the War and became a teacher.

The problem isn't retcons themselves, its the overuse of them.

Please, i dont wanna cuck Remy!
Ill delete my save and stick with Laura if Gambit gets added, he was my favourite X-men when i was a kid!

And that was an excellent choice, both by Oni and the Null team, the white strip is funny and hot.

Man that was too cute and i hate that they broke that off, just like how they killed ultimate Peter, who was arguably best Peter, god dammit i wanna burn marvel to the ground and hand the rights to Capcom or someone else that will actually cherish the characters instead of subjecting them to constant misery porn and character assessination.

I think you're right, but it's also how they use them to radically alter the character to be unrecognizable to what they were, to the point where they may as well make new characters.

They tried that but the people with the talent to do so are dead or went indie due to Marvel and DC abusing them.

What we got were characters like Snowflake and Safespace. So Marvel and DC just keep retconning or having characters go through the same arcs over and over again. Or they have a hero's supporting character take up the mantle like Jane Foster becoming Thor or the Falcon becoming Captain America. Or a random racially diverse kid taking over like Ironheart, Cho, and Kamala. Kamala actually worked though because she had her own powerset, was more street level, and didn't inherit Carol's villains, drama, or narrative beats.

I think I know what you mean. I don't know if I entirely agree, I think a retcon of writing done well is like another chance of cleaning up a pencil sketch that was really only meant to be a rough stopgap but somehow a step was missed and it was shipped and printed thousands of times.

But when a lot was built on the original continuity that's then just bulldozed? I hate that, it's such a damning sign that decision makers are clueless as to what they even do for a living.

Cold take: comic book talent don't get paid enough or enough time to do their best work (whether artists or writers) and the result is a strategy of more rushed product from underpaid over-deadlined talent in search of a hit, instead of just letting them have even close to what they need to put the best version of their idea out to make a good first impression.

So I grinded through the story so far. The Story bits are nice but the Quirks-system kinda bothers me: Its Turn On/Off. Yet, turning them off just leaves the girls more bland e.g. kinda the same.
Having an alternative Quirk take its place maybe even antithetical to the one turned off, would be nice.

Kinda unrelated. Can anybody confirm, there is No Ororo Romance Option? Or did I just miss the exit to X-Milfville at some point?

There's not romance with Ororo YET. It's the only confirmed character that is gonna be added in future updates as a romance option (there's gonna be more, but they don't want to reveal more characters for now)

This is just a thing of taste.

Without the quirk the characters behave similarly to their comic adaptation. With the quirk there's extra humor and kink.

What you see as behaving blandly, to others see as behaving normal and a decent chunk of our players go quirkless.

Also changing quirks again will delay Chapter 2 by months.

She's confirmed for chapter 2. If you gain points with her in chapter 1 they'll give you a headstart in chapter 2.
