TBH it's kinda my thing. I spent a month once reading every old thread for Hogwarts Mystery on 4chan. I hate not getting old in-jokes or missing out on context so I just power through and read it all till I'm caught up.

I'm still holding out hope the devs realize the jealousy thing was a mistake and drop it. The game was so much better before they added it.

Actually, I can see any one of the girls getting jealous, for one reason or another. Especially with Laura, since she's new to any form of relationship and already has an over protective personality (which fits her perfectly). Besides, more drama is always better in an action game. I wouldn't even mind seeing the MC getting a little bolder and try to sneak around on the girlfriend. Atleast it wouldn't have that "harem" feel in it. But, regardless of all that, I still love this game.

Okay, finished a couple playthroughs, caught up on the forums, (skimming the kink shaming, the early bitching about this being a RLE rip-off((The wasted time....)) and the pop-pych flame wars) and really like the game. Hell, if I had money, I'd donate to it. I do like that Kurt's your buddy who warns you when shit starts going down, hell I like the story in general. I like that the girls are all fully implemented. Kinda wish you could just be fuckbuddies with Jean, but then, her character was, while hot, a complete fucking basketcase. Don't believe me? Read all the times she gave Scott shit for little to no reason. Or her divorcing Scott because he "cheated" on her in a dream. Frankly, she shoulda smacked the blonde out of Emma (the actual guilty party), but she blamed Scott, and seemed to be surprised when he decided he'd had enough bullshit. But hopefully the writers here will treat the character better, since she IS ACTUALLY TALKING TO SOMEBODY ABOUT HER INSECURITIES!!!!!! And Null doesn't really judge her for them, unlike Charles. Seriously, who the fuck thought it was a good idea to have her father figure be her goddamned therapist? *remembers most of the Marvel psychologists are villains* Okay, so that one was likely due to a lack of available resources......

Hell, I love that when Rogue thinks the player needs to butt the fuck out of a conversation (despite being submissive) she tells him to carry his happy ass elsewhere, just like a true Southern Belle. And being a smart redneck, (purely head canon, but mostly due to the cornbread and ribs) Null carries his happy ass elsewhere. I kind of like that you can't make Laura a submissive, but CAN get her to rein in her stalker tendencies.

Things I look forward to in Chapter 2: Dazzler's exhibitionist self, Storm in general, and Kitty peeping (we all know she's a voyeur). Grabbing your buddy Kurt to go dick punch Sebastian Shaw because not only does he deserve it, Null is the one person on the planet who can do not only that, but dick-slap the shit out of him while he's folded in half from the dick-punch. Also the entire Dark Phoenix Saga was Shaw's fault.

Edit: I can totally see Mystique's intro boiling down to, "Wait, I slept with who?!?!"

Besides, it's not like jealousy hasn't been done correctly in a game before. This one just needs a little more time to figure things out.
