Hes a cocky, arrogant dick, and was in Null's shoes but was found lacking, didnt give her the benefit of the doubt, ended up getting shanked for it, and Laura ended up having to go with a demon to save his sorry ass, leaving Laura even worse, he also ended up becoming a villain.
The plot requires the girls to trust Null. You don't need to date and/or fuck them to achieve that.
So the player will be forced to interact with all of the potential girls to a degree but won't force you into a relationship.
If you enter a relationship after their main plot is complete, then it's the girls will go "Oh I have feelings for my friend" instead of "This guy just helped me with my problem, I think I love him."
I can neither confirm or deny Laura sneakily watching you in your sleep.
We know damned good and well she was, before she was invited into Null's bed.

From my reading of it it wasn't a relationship so much as:
Julian was able to medivac a dying Laura to be healed at one point. She ended up getting a crush because of that and sort of stalked him for a while, quietly freaking out over having feelings for people.
Eventually she left the school and did her own thing. Then, when she came back, Julian was at his rock bottom and tried to pursue that old thread (even though I'm not sure he ever showed interest or even awareness previously) but Laura was capital O capital I Over It, and rejected him outright. He didn't take that well and sort of started stalking her in return, which was far less cute when he did it.
idk if there was anything beyond that, but I absolutely have holes in my knowledge of the timeline.
TLDR, we dont gotta worry about opening a door to Laura X Hellion, cuz laura closed that door herself.

There's no stealing anyone from anyone, this game does not have love triangles nor will it ever have love triangles.
But yeah, if you turn them down at first, you can start dating them later on. Which you kinda have to do if you want to date multiple people.
True, I imagine it was much more bearable to read since I didn't have to wait weeks or months for the next issue to see it be resolved.

"So here I am playing this H-game with my goddamn dick in my hand like some kind of basement-dwelling asshole, clicking through all the options and all this goddamn annoying dialogue teaching me about 'the importance of consent' or whatever, when suddenly, Jean Grey yanks me aside to tell me she's pissed at me because I'm tryna pull Rogue over here. I thought this was a porn game! Aren't I MEANT to try fuckin' every girl I see? So why is this shitty game punishing me for playing it like a porno -- even though it's LITERALLY a fuckin' porno? Look, I'm a month late to this comment, but I'm also assuming the viewpoint of you devs hasn't changed in the interim. If you're that worried about NTR complaints that you won't put the option in the game, why not just give a Y/N option for players to choose BEFORE starting a game? Or is it just more not worth doing the additional work to add such options for arguably little financial or personal incentive (ie, basically the same reason this game lacks a male homosexuality option)? I don't really care beyond preferring verisimilitude, so at this point I'm more just inquiring out of morbid curiosity...
