Well, try to understand things from my perspective. From my perspective, I maybe have only left a handful of comments on this thread over the past 3 years. It's just not something I'm invested in and never have been. I just check on it whenever I see it by chance. I don't care enough to dig through the thread. Whenever I see it:
- I briefly check the preview screenshots
- I briefly check the changelog
- Then I usually fuck off and go back to ignoring it.
- Only this time by chance, I checked the dev notes and just saw "all 3 characters" and based off of the previews I just assumed that was it and Storm was just some ancillary character or whatever.

To be fair, I could've done a search real quick but again, don't care enough and a lot of the time, it's usually just stuff that doesn't answer my question.

The only thing different is that relevant information just happened to be discussed just a few pages back but ... I haven't been keeping up with this at all to think to check. It'd be more likely I'd just be mindlessly going through the pages while reading esoteric stuff about a game I haven't played yet than find anything pertinent to me. Which is why I just thought to pop a quick question that I assumed was innocuous.

This game looks good at a glance but not good enough to really give it a try unless it has characters I'm interested in. To you, this game may be something you've been following enough to be invested in it. To me, it honestly just feels like another drop in the bucket of 100s of games developing at a snail's pace. I'm tired from the day, I don't have a lot of energy, it's a game I'm not even sure whether I want to play yet, I'm going to ask a quick question.
I'm not going to read that, you are already asking all of us to put more effort into you than you put in in the first place.

"Hey, you fuckin' cunts. I don't know shit about what got added to the game since December last year. Could someone tell me what been added since then? Also, I'mma leave 'cause y'all gonna be a bunch of cunts about it."

It was a bold strategy.

I don't know, with enough use of cunts you can suspect that the guy is from Australia and just wants some friendly chat.
And talking about Australia, it surprised me that there was never a prominent X-men from Australia enough to stick with the team through the different eras. Other than Pyro that is mostly famous for being and antagonist and was dead for a long time.

So I've been reading Excalibur, and now I'm wondering what Kitty's events are going to be like beyond Null playing therapist. Will they be more comedic than the other ones, exploiting her phasing power for laughs (such as wardrobe malfunctions) or something else?

I'm asking this because Kitty is seemingly cursed in Excalibur to end up nude, in her underwear or in some fetishistic outfit or in some ridiculous situation that leads to the above the most out of the entire cast, and if you know the cast, that is saying something.

Noticed something the other day that I don't believe was in the last version of the game. After the Juggernaut attack, Null gets a visit from Storm and there is a dialogue option that I'm pretty sure is new where he says she's been on his mind. Dug into the code around that spot and noticed this happens with that choice:
Python:
            # these stat gains should be hidden
            $ OroroMunroe.love = OroroMunroe.thresholds["dating"][0]
            $ OroroMunroe.trust = OroroMunroe.thresholds["dating"][1]
Not really sure what its doing, but I'm thinking this is going to be a flag needed to date Storm later in Chapter 2.

Edit: Something similar automatically happens at the beginning of the conversation
Python:
    # these stat gains should be hidden
    $ OroroMunroe.love = OroroMunroe.thresholds["friendship"][0]
    $ OroroMunroe.trust = OroroMunroe.thresholds["friendship"][1]

I'll look at it whenever I get there. Been busy and also I've been dragging my feet getting through the game. Might be for her default demeaner in ch2 or something.

You can also take a look at the Summer event and see if you find anything similar there since Storm is involved in it.

Chances are BDSM, if added, will be in a mild tone and exclusive to a gal that has it as her kink.
I hanged out on the games discord a while back and the devs said they're consulting actual BDSM people in order to make a realistic system, so probably not too mild.

They also told me raceplay was out of the question though(understandable), and so is being mean to girls, and that one really bummed me out - making fun of Rogue at the beginning was really entertaining and I wish we had options for bullying each girl. Imagine hiding Jean's homework to make her freak out lmao
