The good news is working on 0.8c might not slow them down as much as we might think. Working on writing and art can progress independently of code. Even coding for chapter 2 can progress alongside 0.8c for some parts once there is confidence in how the variables and functions will be handled. Which is also why I'm not writing off the possibility of getting the start of chapter 2 before the end of the year yet.

I tried 0.8c.beta10 and now I have a couple of questions:

1) 220 V and 50 Hz - that's not very typical for US electric grid? Stock images was taken as a reference?



2) No more exclamation marks on the map? They are still appearing on the map button, but not on the map itself.
3) Free showers at morning and night - only in the MC bathroom, but not in the locker room. Why?
4) Perk "Night Owl" description says that it doesn't work for classes - but there is no classes at night anyway, why even mention that?
5) Perk "Hygienic Habits" promises free shower every morning and night - that means two free showers at that times total? Feels redundant.

P.S. Loading screens is a nice idea.

1. Used sometimes in the US for industry and utilities. Though usually just 2 110v put together so it's a bit different. Home stoves are an example of this. The only reason that the US didn't fully go to 220 like Europe is that US adoption and development of the electric grid was further along(US had over 60 Skyscrapers by 1900 where the next nearest had like 4) and also had zero setbacks or need to redevelop (world wars) TLDR: It's a science lecture. They usually go over far less common things than typical home volts. Also probably stock images.

So I've been reading Excalibur, and now I'm wondering what Kitty's events are going to be like beyond Null playing therapist. Will they be more comedic than the other ones, exploiting her phasing power for laughs (such as wardrobe malfunctions) or something else?

I'm asking this because Kitty is seemingly cursed in Excalibur to end up nude, in her underwear or in some fetishistic outfit or in some ridiculous situation that leads to the above the most out of the entire cast, and if you know the cast, that is saying something.

That's what the graphics option Wait for Image Prediction is for. Turn this OFF and see no more pointless loading screens what should instantly load all save games and scenes.
