X-Men is perfect for a sitcom or drama. Big house with wacky characters, people rotate in and out of the house, keep adding more characters as time goes on, people walking into rooms at the most awkward moments.
I literally just got done with Kitty's 1980 christmass special, and yes, sometimes it feels like a wacky sitcom, in this case, 13 year old girl has to escape from a legally distint Xenomorph and pull out all sorts of home alone bullshit in the mansion.
