I have faith in that the team can come up things for platonic Rogue (not that I'll ever explore a platonic Rogue route) and Laura routes to rebalance things. What those thing can be? I don't know. But the team has developed things that we didn't know that we wanted and turned out being pretty good.

Depends what you want to know in particular. Generally, Mad, as the head writer, takes the role of the story event writer, while we all take a share in writing character events. Before we started working on Chapter 2, we all sat down and had a discussion on what we wanted to do with the new characters and where we wanted to take them. While writing the first chapter, we realised that we'd stumbled across a common theme in Laura, Jean and Rogue, almost by accident, that being trauma of some sort or another, and we decided to lean into it once we realised what we had. With Chapter 2, we worked out a character arc and an overarching theme from the beginning, and we're writing some of the character events with one eye on that.
