Because she was introduced in the part of the story chapter 2 takes place in, same with Kitty and Emma, bit Emma was a villain for a long time.

It's a big reason why I'm interested in seeing what they have planned for Emma, because she was a villain for years. Though admittedly outside the Hellfire club arc, the time she swapped bodies with Storm and some stuff with the new mutants, she doesn't do a lot, and even the majority of that isn't physically confronting anyone till the Upstarts arc.

Indirect confirmation of lingerie outfits by Buttholder is a go! When Emma eventually becomes a Love Interest, surely the Hellfire Club outfit will be available later for her and perhaps Jean?

One lore question, when Mastermind mind controlled Jean into becoming the Black Queen, did he mind control Jean or Phoenix.
