I mean, I haven't managed to play everything there is yet, but I kinda feel like the whole "energy drain" thing is just kinda how his power works, no? Like, didn't he absorb Laura's healing factor, and boost his own beyond his standard abilities while in contact with her? I know that's not exactly what you're talking about there, but that feels like exactly how his power works in relation to mutants with healing factors.

All that aside, whatever the devs do I look forward to seeing eventually. There's very few games that make you feel like you're literally playing out a comic run, even outside the porn game space. Despite being a porn game, it captures that feeling of just being an X-Men story first and foremost better than any X-Men game I've ever played. It's a gem, and I wish I could recommend it to more people without getting funny looks because it is honestly my favorite X-Men story that I've seen for a long time. It hits every major beat phenomenally, and I honestly find myself just playing the game for the story and characters more often than not. The porn is in a distant third place on my favorite things in this game, and it's still very good. While I'm not going to write a full review or anything since I haven't even finished the current content, this game is an easy 9/10 in my book, and with how much time and effort the devs seem to be putting into it, I very much doubt it will drop much from there.

Tl;dr, this game fucking rocks.

Hi, first post here. In game phone has settings to change the ringtone, does that only apply to when you get called by one of the girls(so never basically) or is it meant to play when you get a text? I'm asking because i set mine to the Juggernaut's theme but have never heard it play from the phone(outside of the jukebox app obvs.), and i wonder if that is normal behavior for now and it will work on an update in the future

OR I'm wrong about what that setting is and it does something else

OR it should play and it not working is something that applies just to me which is possible and it's something i'm dreading might be true since i need to use a third-party program to run this game (since the renpy version it uses is windows 10 only and for reasons i'm stuck on windows 7)

Wait till Chapter 2 comes out. Null is a full member of the X-Men after Chapter 1's finale. That comes with its ups and downs lol

God, I wish I had some disposable income to throw your way. This game absolutely deserves it, and the fact I don't pains me greatly. I'll try to gather up a few spare bucks to toss your way at by at least the time chapter 1 is complete. I see it more as Null being introduced to her as her being Professor Munroe, and not knowing her codename is Storm, yet.

We'll never ask people to give us money they don't have. If you want to do a single donation of $1* that'll be enough.

Though in truth, if everyone on the patreon just did $1 rather than a handful of people doing the $15, we'd be better off.

*Patreon takes a steep cut so we'd only get like 30 cents but we appreciate it just the same.

I mean, she is both, and in the case of Null, she literally is his teacher.

See this is factually an oversight due to name tags. Whenever a character name comes up it pulls either their given name, code name, or their pet name.

Since you don't interact with Storm much I don't think we fully programmed it to consider her super name.

PERSONALLY I like this oversight in a "not a bug, a feature" kind of way. Because in universe you don't know the back story of Storm so just seeing a pissed off school teacher bring the wrath of the heavens down on the guy who kicked your ass is both fitting from a narrative point of view, and hilarious from a player's perspective.

The former. All the reports and stuff are 'real' in-universe, but it's to give the player a greater understanding of everything else that's going on, since it's all locked to Null's POV by default. It gives us an opportunity to flesh out some more of the world and lets us show stuff you'd never see otherwise

I was an avid X-Men reader since late 80s. I stopped buying anything from Marvel in 2012, after the awful two-punch sequence of Fear Itself and AvX. This game is probably the best thing X-Men related I read in more than a decade, it perfectly capture the characters and atmosphere.
