As a general response. We're actually in the red so if we're milking things, we're doing a pretty shit job at it.
How in the red are we? Ron uses more than $1K out of pocket a month to pay the artists. Everyone else, the writers, the music guy, me, UI people are purely volunteer.
Would we be in a better financial situation if we just threw out girls with 2 interactions and added the rest and their stories 6 updates later and then eventually have to break saves again because we chose to rush things?
Looking at the financial situation of a lot of the other games? Yeah, we'd probably be getting more money that way.
But no. We're actively losing money because our passion for the project outweighs any desire for making money off it.
To be honest we might have to look into more ways of making things financially stable or we're gonna need to start using placeholder art.
