Hopefully the number of scenes like these will keep on increasing as the budget increases , 4.3k raised as of now is semi decent but if the budget allocation reaches somewhere around 6- 8k a month we might finally start seeing some stability in the dev cycle and without Ron having to dip into his own savings to keep the project alive

He will have to deliver though cause with how the economy is going people will close their wallets real fast if they don't get what they are paying for

Right, and the person originally quoted asked if they would have to reset progress from 0.8. Maybe they meant when updating to 0.8c, I don't know, I just assumed they meant 0.9 as that seems more relevant at this point than the 0.8c update. But I don't know what they intended. If they meant when updating to to 0.8c, I guess the OP has the answer posted in the screenshot above.

Ok, what does this have to do with the unreleased 0.9 which I assumed was being asked about? To be clear, I assumed Simpy was asking if he'd need to start a new game when 0.9 is released, not when upgrading to 0.8c (though he may have indeed meant this).

Wow, where should we know? Maybe your save gets broken due to a hd/ssd crash and you have to restart a new game anyway or something in code-base changed in the last minute which cause you to start a new game and so on, I don't have trust in 8-Ball's

If you mean 'will 0.9 require a reset', no, the only reason we required that before was because the code required a massive overhaul in order to avoid problems down the line. Going forward, the only time you'll need to reset will be if you want to, and if you do, the achievement shop will make it quicker and easier to do.
