freddygonzo & sleepingkirby: Your time to shine. So, since the quirks are disabled but still present in the files, does anybody actually know which variables one would have to flip to reenable them or even what variables one would be looking for? I am vaguely interested in messing about and maybe reenabling the quirks just for shits and giggles, but I'm not exactly a coding expert and wouldn't really know where to even start looking.
Why are you asking me? Didn't you block me? Didn't you say I should keep your name out of my mouth?freddygonzo & sleepingkirby: Your time to shine.
dude, the game updated a few months ago. it's not like they are coming on here and saying "we just don't feel like updating for 6 months"This is the result of not having an update in forever, let alone a new set of gals to rail in over 2+ years.
Verily, this is expected.
Ah yes, because a simple patch of edits is verily worth being called "an update a few months ago". It's not. At this point and rate Update 1.0 will be 4 years removed, and patience here will have ran thin, as it already is now.dude, the game updated a few months ago. it's not like they are coming on here and saying "we just don't feel like updating for 6 months"

those who are not patient rarely enjoy the reward. those who are patient have fun. pick a side, sportAh yes, because a simple patch of edits is verily worth being called "an update a few months ago". Simply stating facts.
I guess you can also say that those kinks make characters more "alive", so to speak. It gives them a personality beyond your control, just like IRL. Simply because you ask someone "blease stob xD--My problem with that line of thinking is that IMO, the kinks were a good way to flirt with the characters even if you weren't dating them.
Like, hearing that Laura has started to really like the way you smell, or Jean hesitantly bringing up your "sibling"ship every time she can in weirder ways, there's a part of you that's like "wait, is this a sex thing? are they flirting, is she into me?"
It added a little spice. My most recent playthorugh felt weirdly abrupt without that kind of dialogue to bridge the gap between just friends and actually dating.
But I guess they made their decision... maybe I'll just find a way to use console to turn the kinks on early, hopefully the platonic kinks are an actual thing they're working on
I agree with this, creating a convincing facsimile of life is so difficult that it is often done accidentally it seems.I guess you can also say that those kinks make characters more "alive", so to speak. You, good sir, get it.I guess.
It's a fun dynamic. I was thinking what made new playthrough a bit more sterile than before - it was rework of this mechanic I now think. Remember romancing Rogue in earlier versions and bringing her to my room and, at some point, seeing that Laura stands outside the window, leaning on it, with glowing ass eyes. IRL it can be annoying, but in the game it has a lighthearted, sort of comedic tone.
I mean, someone like Jean wouldn't stop bringning up her "brother" thing just because you've asked. You'll say "blease stob xD" and she'll say "okay XXDD" only to bring it up again, "when the time is right", in hopes that you can reconsider.
