How the hell are we gaslighting you by telling you that we are factually expanding the the quirks?

Because youre not, you keep NOT adressing the problem, changing the nature of said quirks its whats the matter here, holy crap i feel like im taking crazy pills here or im speaking in chinese, time after time i make the same point and you guys gloss over it and repeat the same answer i keep telling you is not the issue, as it stands the game lost a way of playing that was enjoyable, people like Jean being thirsty or Laura being a stalker if you encourage it, this is the matter, changing it to a platonic version is missing the entire point of what made it fun, hell, how many people have you had tell you the same that they play 0.8c and feel like the game is missing out?

You and many others keep posting things and acting like point 3 is us "gaslighting" you into not complaining.

Ive said that exactly ONCE, and is precisely because i got pissed because the constant refusal to engage in the actual conversation that people are complaining about, if people keep complaining about not liking the change, then maybe people actually do not like the change bootsie, i dont know how i can say this in any other way.

I have no fucking clue how getting MORE of something you guys apparently love so much that you get enraged over it is a bad thing.

Because it is not the same, thats the gaslighting, the proposed exchange does not adress what people wanted with the quirk system, it is not a matter of "more", it is a matter of being a completely different context and tone of interaction.

Again, you can say that you want to do it like that because it suits more what you guys want to do, thats fine, its your artistic freedom, but it isnt the same, it isnt what people complaining about this are missing, it is not "more", its "different", and people are in their right to complain about not wanting the different thing.

This wasn't in the game. This is what we're adding to the content that's been restricted to dating the girls.

I'm sorry if I'm sounding a tad miffed but I'm not the only one who's reading you guys' posts and thinking you want the girls to act like you're their boyfriend when you have a strictly platonic, if playful, relationship.

If you want the game to outright ignore reality then feel free to mod it but stop acting like we permanently took away content when we're adding a net gain in additional content for you to consume.

I'll admit Ron's decision to block off the existing content for platonic interactions, because again it's still in the game if you romance them, prior to the new content being able to be implemented was a bad move but you guys are acting like there is suddenly an absence with no hope of ever being filled when we've repeatedly told you and rephrased it six ways to Sunday that the quirk content isn't gone, and you're going to be getting more of it.

Maybe you just meant this as a more general response, but I feel like there's a misunderstanding of my point.

Like in your conversation, you say you want platonic big sis Jean to complain about the "hussies" distracting MC, that's all well and good I guess, but I was refering specifically to pre-dating, explicitly flirtatious quirking, which is how I feel most of the options came across in older versions.

IDK, i feel like there's a huge middle ground between "ignore reality and act like MC is their boyfriend" and flirting/teasing/testing the waters with their kink. Laura telling MC that they smell good isn't some crazy dialogue that only makes sense if you've been dating for months.

And I think it's a little disingenuous to blame people for feeling like content was removed "when we're eventually going to get a net gain" when that net gain isn't available and we don't know what it will look like, so content was removed. I agree that it was a bad idea to remove the system before implementing the replacement, I restarted for the current version but I assume I'll have to restart again when the new platonic system is added. i'm sure its very annoying to hear the complaint ad nauseum, but what else could you expect from that situation?

Maybe at the least, some previews of the kind of interactions these new platonic quirk will be would calm a lot of people down, because it's unclear right now, and even from your comment, if there are going to be 100% platonic quirks that are unrelated to romancing the girls (ex- jean likes to study!), or if they're pre-dating quirks that still involve flirting that get upgraded into kinks when you start dating (ex- jean has a sibling quirk that sometimes feels like its crossing the line, we went on a date, now its a full blown incest kink). If you don't want to give previews, that's fine, but then you can't blame people for wondering and speculating about it.

But that's not what I was doing. I was accused of gaslighting after saying we were going to add content.

People can be concerned and worried sure. There's a lot of unknown variables but salscou accused me of an extremely emotionally abusive act after saying we're trying to make the system more complex and nuanced.

I don't know why you want this because the writing was NOT them pathologically deluding themselves into thinking they were your girlfriend, but was the universe outright treating you as if you were dating but to each their own.
