One thing I confirmed for myself after reading the cheating reactions outlines some way back is that I am not doing a harem in this game. Monogamy it is, across several playthroughs.
Harem fantasy requires a certain suspension of disbelief from me to make it plausible, and these characters are too life-like for it to ever be plausible. No way these people will just agree to be a part of a crowd like that instead of being special, that only works in a porn that doesn't take itself too seriously or doesn't try in tge first place.
So, several routes/playthtoughs it is. If devs ever wonder if monogamy content would actually have ots target audience, here's your confirmation.

My man, i think the same, there is definitly a divide that the whole polycule ting cant bridge no matter how much it tries to be justified with the liberation movement being more widespread, it doesnt feel believable to me.

I feel the same as you , it's why i have two separate saves going on , one for a monogamous playthrough with Laura and Null being deeply in love and having each others back and the other where Null gets to sleep with everyone and explores their kinks , basically a save that's focused on consuming content and not for depth

In the future i might make another save where it's just Null , Laura and Rogue as that threesome pairing does kinda work with how the story has been presented so far but it remains to be seen

All completely fair takes. There always needs to be some suspension of disbelief. Heck just to make it not seem like Null is a sex god, we implemented the season changes specifically to show that some time passes.

Though as mentioned before, there are some combo relationships that can be considered a mini-third route. Rogue and Laura will be getting special content based on them becoming besties due to Null's influence.

It is my hope that the writing is convincing enough at least in this instance.

Though as mentioned before, there are some combo relationships that can be considered a mini-third route. Rogue and Laura will be getting special content based on them becoming besties due to Null's influence.

This is more believable than the Harem, Null isnt a wealthy saudi prince.
I know that in TNH'stimeline, Rogue becomes Laura's bestie, but if it was like in the comics,something like Laura and Jubilee or Kitty and Illyana would make enough sense to me to suspend my disbelief.

I just know whats coming and so many people are gonna be upset about it, cant wait for the hurt.

I will be honest in saying that based on the writing and scenarios presented in the game so far only the Null , Laura and Rogue throuple felt really organic , when i inserted Jean into that mix it felt so off and since then i have been very dismissive of the whole polycule idea and execution , so my request to you is this , instead of making it a mini -third route please try and convince Maddenning and Ron to flesh that pairing even further and maybe even bring it on par with a monogamous romance route , just food for thought

Man, reading the cheating reactions made me feel bad asf, and I never cheated on any of the girls in this game (because I know how to read instructions and tips) but these reactions only make me more motivated!

Meaning that both Laura and Jubes can become close friends.

5 years isn't all too long in the grand scheme of things. Laura will be making plenty of friends to help her realize what a stable life is like.

ShinyBoots1993 was it ever explained how long it would take to implement these options/scenarios? I'm sure this will take a while, but I'm unsure how the process works with artists and stuff like that. This will obviously be a 2026+ project. Hope you can answer, it's fine if you can't. I'm still very excited for all of this.
