final changelog, open beta tomorrow evening when I get off work! I got someone to cover my weekend shift so I can focus on debugging and animating

open beta has all the new art and writing - a bunch of the animations are unpolished and missing some physics. will finalize them while we collect bug reports

So is this a good amount of new content considering none of the new LIs will be in it? Sounds more like additional polish of already available content or do I get this wrong?

It's more like a preparation for the second season. The animations aren't finished yet either. But they'll be fleshed out by then and they'll also take into account the feedback on the new stuff they've added ane iron it out.

Nuked saves ( including sync/persistent/auto etc ), nuked install dirs and fresh install from 7.b from main page, ran once to set options then checked to see if and need to nuke RPYC, deliberately didn't run the cheat inject so it's just the game files in there

still flipping those two filters on after the intro, so beginning to think is it maybe an issue with the 7.b build?

I'm much in the same boat, but generally default to reluctant and heroic. Any of the moments to be bitter feel more like the result of cultural propaganda and fearmongering. Science has shown that (for example) humans and neantherals fucked happily as much if not more then they fought.

So any time they come with their mutant race relations bullshit all I have is pity for their ignorant asses.

Turns out it's not even Console, seemingly a long standing issue if you turn off interface animations. turned them on and screen is fine again

In all fairness, neanderthals couldnt fire gay beams into your mind or turn into your grandma to scam you, normal humans in the world of Marel have VERY good reasons to fear and distrust mutants, specially when even the X-men are normally very secretive and tend to clash with more goverment-alligned heroes.

Hell, Laura is a living example.

The Laura example is more of a reason to distrust governments then anything else. Remember, the Weapon X-series might be based on mutants but Weapon I was just some blond Brooklyn beanpole. Sure the Xmen are secretive, but as a response to said governments and prejudges.

If they opt to kill all mutants, a naturally reoccurring thing, that will result in a program to constanlty kill childeren and teens at worst or mass doping with side effects and hefty pricetags at best. Won't solve having to be weary of supperpowered mooks as most powered heroes and villians arent mutants.

If they opt to fuck they would level the playing field in 3 to 4 generations. Can't hit you with a gay beam when most of the population already have mental powers. Also makes it that super villiany would take a hit as you can't just steal a granny's purse when she can teleport it back to herself in a flash.

This whole mutant thing is humanity adapting to how bonkers the marvel cosmos tends to be, a net good for their survival well into the future. Now the overall dynamic of the marvel verse won't change what with megalomania, savior complexes and evil organisations all over the place, but atleast the average Joe and Jane would be able to defend themselves when the next alien invasion drops.

And the fact that we aren't cavedwellers and neanthertals anymore means we can try to have the meeting of genomes be alot more romantic then rapey. (And even if not, still preferable in the long run to paying out your nose to live drugged up or a neverending infanticide.)

Youre mixing up what we know as outside observers and readers to what people in-universe know.
Mutants lead to all sorts of problems and innocent casualties, be it by accident, being forced to by shadowy groups or by their own hands.
Take for example that boy wolverine had to kills because he just hit puberty and killed his entire town without knowing what he was doing, all those kids that manifest their powers and end up taking down their families with them, or an apartment block, then you have stuff like Juggernaut showing up andcompletely demoloshing a batallion of the national guard, for the average civilian, they are not gonna know that Cain Marko isnt actually a mutant but the bearer of the bands of Cytorak, they are just gonna see a mutie yet again causing a disaster.
Thats why the mutant registration act had so much popular support even though from the X-men (and ours) point of view its a terrible idea that was a step closer to them all ending in camps.
Also take into account that the mutants we see are the lucky ones that are the creme de la creme, your average mutant is basically the morlocks with pretty shitty mutations that only causes them deformities and harm.

As Knight mentioned above you need to basically Mix n Match to get what you want. But this was my attempt at sluttiying/ bimbofying their Hero Outfits.

No no, i know that, i mean ingame, of course while drawn you can make them look hot with their full covering suits.

Rogue is the only one I think you can convincingly pull off, cause her One Piece has a similar colour scheme to her Hero suit. X-23 is okay and Jean is meh. But I get what you're saying, I'd prefer if the Hero suits could be combo'd with the garters, stockings, fishnets and etc.

I concede to your points. Though I still think it's the better solution.

I suppose in universe it would be the kind of angle Null could propose to Magneto, who would take it into the Viltrumite route of hiding in plain sight and starring up breeding harems with humans. And who better to lead the charge then the one who gave him the idea?
